BrickTW 50% off Christmas holiday sale!

I would like to bring you attention to an excellent deal! One of the best LEGO customizers is having a 50% off Christmas holiday sale! (You can read more about BrickTW here: BrickTW – Overview)

If you are interested in the ancient history of the East and would like to build historically accurate LEGO armies (like the Terracotta Army), this is your chance to do it cheap!

BrickTW carries LEGO minifig compatible helmets, armor pieces and weapons with unmatched quality! I have personally used BrickTW’s products to equip my Terracotta Army and  Manchurian Army.

All of BrickTW’s products come in many LEGO-compatible colors. I highly recommend black, tan, gray and milky-white! Also the translucent colors are very nice. This is also a great time to pick up BrickTW’s more expensive gold and silver chromed products. They are really beautiful! Check out my Knights in Shining Armor to see their quality and blinding shine. 8)

In addition, BrickTW is one of the rare LEGO customizers who makes arrows for your LEGO archers. In fact BrickTW carries a whole range of arrows with beautifully designed arrow-tips. This is one of my favorite products from BrickTW. See my review here: LEGO Compatible Arrows.

So check them out and give your LEGO minifigs a nice Christmas present! 😉

They’ve got some interesting stuff. Do you know how they’re female style hair looks on a minifig?

Quad, you mean the long hair? It fits nicely, so no problems there. To be honest though it is one of the only pieces from BrickTW that I don’t like. It has a cartoonish look (kind of like what you see in Asian cartoons). But there are other people who really like it, so it is up to your preferences and taste. 🙂

I put a few things in my cart and they didn’t come up as buy one get one, then the estimate for shipping was $120!

Margot, I think you may have been shopping in the wrong store. I just checked and it seems that the current sale is ONLY in BrickTW’s BrickLink store, not at their webstore. They usually run the same sale at both places but it doesn’t seem to be the case this time. You can click on the sale picture at the top of the post to take you to the store, or here is the direct BrickLink store address: BrickTW’s BrickLink Store

As far as shipping, they may have a glitch in their webstore system. Shipping with BrickTW is very reasonable! If you are in doubt, just contact Kevin (the owner) through his BrickLink store contact feature before placing an order to get a shipping estimate. Again, the store address is: BrickTW’s BrickLink Store

      Hope this helps! 😉

VIE, you go to BrickTW’s BrickLink Shop, put whatever you want in your shopping cart, then check out. (If you are not a BrickLink member yet you will need to first register.)

Once you check out Kevin (the owner of BrickTW) will receive a notification. He will pack your order and send you an invoice by email (usually within a day). You follow the directions to check out using any credit or debit card. Once you check out Kevin will ship your order. You should receive your order in about 10 days.

If something is still not clear just let me know. 😉

The 50% off sale was too good to pass up, and I just received my order. I like most of the items, but most of the swords really are too big. In some cases, they are taller than the minifigs. The Saint sword is OK, but the Slaughter Broadsword, Bloody Broadsword, and Broadsword of Seven Stars are comically large and I don’t think I’ll end up using them. The chrome gold armor on a white minifigure is pretty spectacular, though. I like the round shields and the brown civilian clothes. Shipping took almost two weeks, but was pretty inexpensive for coming all the way from Taiwan.

Andres, thanks for sharing! I have a picture of the BrickTW swords here: Guide to LEGO Scabbard Compatible Swords. I also found them too big (except for the Saint Sword) and was curious about their size. Did swords like that really exist? I did some research on this and found that there were in fact some giant swords like that in anchient Asia. The one I have seen looked very much like the BrickTW Slaughter Broadsword, and yes, it was huge compared to a person. I was going to give you a Wikipedia links so you can check them out, but unfortunately I don’t remember the name of the sword. 😳
My BrickTW giant swords are used by my LEGO trolls. They are the perfect size for them. 😉
