Finally we have a chance to see the LEGO Ninjago 2012 summer sets, thanks to LEGO-fans who have taken pictures and videos at the recent toy-fair in Nurnberg, Germany! (Images courtesy of www.spieletest.at.)

#9448 LEGO NINJAGO Samurai Mech – In my opinion, besides the #2507 LEGO Ninjago Fire Temple, this is the best LEGO Ninjago set! That mech is just incredible! This set also features a small snake-catapult to launch the 2 snakes that appear in the set. Includes 3 minifigures: Samurai X, Bytar and Snike. Estimated price: $39.99
#9449 LEGO NINJAGO Ultra Sonic Raider - The Ninja’s cool new toy! It also has some really interesting moving parts! (Check out the video below.) Great post! I really hope I have enough money by July so I can get some of these! Also, for those of you who want to build a snakeman army, Lizaru, Mezmo, and Bytar are all summer booster packs! For $3.99 you get a snakeman, one golden weapon, two normal weapons, and some spinner acessories (I know I’m getting lots of them)!

Hmm…I love everything but the Samurai Robot and the tank. They look epic…but they should be in a different LEGO theme.
Also, look at The Great Devourer! He is awesome. And so are all the new minifigures!

Legorohan, I have not heard about the tailed snakes coming out by themselves. As far as I know they are only available in the larger sets.
Yes, General Skales, Skalidor, Acidicus, Fangtom, and Pythor all all exclusive to large sets.
Bytar, Slithra, Lizaru, and Fangam are just second-in-commands, so they are available in several sets and spinners. Lego has definitely made it a challenge to get all 17 snakemen.
Darkon, yeah, but that’s where LEGO makes the money! The snakes can always be bought separately on BrickLink though, but with rare characters like the snake generals expect to pay $10-$15 per minifig. It may be worth to just buy the set and sell the parts/minifigs you don’t want to recoup your money.

i have Skales, Slithraa, Rattla, Lasha, Fangtom, Fangdam, Fang-Suei, and Snappa. Does anyone else have all of the snakemen?

In the picture that shows all the minifigure in a circle, the four ninja in between Rattla and Lord Garmadon are the NRG Ninjas! I looked at better pictures of them on brickipedia, and they are awesome! They all have new golden weapons, and are each one solid color! That means Solid Red Kai, Solid Black Cole, Solid White Zane, and Solid Blue Jay (this includes hands and faces)! I’m pretty sure the Sonic Raider set comes with all four, plus they are also going to be released as spinners in August! NinjaGo!!!
Darkon, great info! Please note that NRG Zane is not white though, but looks like light-blue! Only the hands are white and the printing on the torso. Really cool, if you ask me! Go, Frosty!

Look on Brickset ultra Sonic Raider Comes with all 4 ZX Ninja not NRG
No the Ultra Sonic Raider does not contain the NRG figures only ZX. The NRG figure Jay is in the Epic Dragon Battle though. The NRG figures will come out in later sets like spinners and NRG vehicles, completely different from the Golden Weapon vehicles
But I don’t really like the NRG.

I saw “Can of Worms” last night! Seeing all four of the snake tribes at once was awesome! I especially loved the Constrictai and Venomari. “Go pink ninja! Go!”
I saw that Slithraa’s minifigure got bumped to wave 4. This means he won’t be out until late September. I can’t believe they’re delaying him like this considering Lizaru and Bytar come out in June, and Fangam already comes in three sets! Why must Lego be this way?!

The first wave of spinners is Lasha, Snappa, Samurai X, and Kendo Zane. Wave 2 comes out in march and contains Kai ZX, Fang-suei, and Zane ZX. Wave 3 comes out in June and includes Spitta, Fangam, Choka, and Lloyd ZX. Wave 4 is late September and contains NRG Jay, NRG Cole, NRG Zane, and Slithraa. Booster packs Wave 1 is Kendo Cole, Jay ZX, and Lloyd. Wave 2 come out in June with Lizaru, Mezmo, and Bytar. The first spinner double-pack includes Cole ZX and Rattla. The second, which comes out in Wave 4 includes NRG Kai and Snike.
