LEGO Ninjago future plot-line revealed?

There hasn’t been any LEGO Ninjago news lately, but it is Thursday – the day we used to post Ninjago episodes – so I thought to share with you an intriguing video (thanks, Gorzan, for bringing it to my attention).

LEGO Ninjago 2014

TheBrickBoxChannel on YouTube noticed something interesting about the 8th book in the Ninjago series published by Papercutz and scheduled for release this October. (We just talked about the books recently, see here: LEGO Ninjago Books by Papercutz) I’m copying the plot from the previous post for your reference – see below.

Ninjago LEGO Books by Papercutz

LEGO Ninjago Book #8:  Destiny of DoomAfter Jay, Cole, Zane, and Kai defeated Lord Garmadon once and for all, the skeletal baddie actually joined the good guys! Garmadon and his son Lloyd are reunited, and the new powerful team, led by Sensei Wu, is totally unstoppable . . . unless they have to face one of their own. Before Garmadon turned, he had placed terrible doomsday devices all over Ninjago, timed to activate in the event of his defeat. Now he must lead the ninjas in a quest around the world to battle these maniacal menaces, and hope that their first mission together isn’t their last! The blockbuster graphic novel best-seller continues in this thrilling tale of endings and new beginnings!

According to TheBrickBoxChannel’s theory the description may in fact hint on what will happen next in the Ninjago saga; the bad-guys will be robots or nindroids that the ninja has to fight. This theory is also backed up by the teaser-image LEGO shared with us earlier (see: LEGO Ninjago – Important Announcement!). Also the plot in the book refers to “having to face one of their own”. This may mean Zane somehow turning evil, joining the other nindroids, and creating a new threat in the land of Ninjago… 😕

So what do you think? Does this sound like a reasonable theory? Or do you have other thoughts on how Ninjago will continue? Feel free to share your thoughts and discuss in the comment section. NINJA… GO!!! 😉
