Let LEGO know what you think!

A few times a year LEGO sends out a community survey to various LEGO User Groups and fan-sites asking them to encourage their members to complete an online survey. This is your chance to share valuable information with LEGO so they can continue improving their products and services. 🙂

LEGO Survey

LEGO is particularly enthusiastic to reach as many adult LEGO fans as possible to take the survey and help them with their market-research, so please let your friends and family who are into LEGO know about the survey too. Here are the LEGO survey details:

Dear AFOL community,

We want your help to understand how we can best support and improve the LEGO fan community.

To learn more about the adult LEGO fan community, we distribute a survey 4 times a year. The surveys help us understand what you and your fellow AFOLs are engaged in, what you think of your LEGO hobby, and how you perceive the LEGO brand. Survey results guide our team at the LEGO Group as we work to better support the fan community. As such, the surveys help us decide where to spend our time and money.

After the survey we will provide the LEGO Ambassadors with a brief description of the general findings. The findings will then be shared broadly with the adult LEGO fan community.

Please note that the survey will only be accessible until April 18th. Thank you very much for your help!

Kind regards,

Tormod Askildsen – Head of the LEGO Community Engagement & Events team, Jan Beyer – Community Operations Manager EU/Asia, Kevin Hinkle – Community Coordinator AMS, Kim Ellekjær Thomsen – Community Coordinator

I’ll fill this out tonight, after my son goes to sleep. I’m glad they ask for input. I’ve answered their web site surveys a few times as it pops uo while I’m shopping.

Yeah, LEGO actually does take these surveys seriously, although I have to say this was the shortest community survey I have ever filled out. I guess they just want to get to the point. 🙂

    • admin April 7, 2013, 9:08 AM

Yeah, I know, I have done it many times too. but if it helps them make decisions I don’t mind helping out for a couple of minutes. 😉

  • Fikko3107 April 7, 2013, 9:44 AM

Does anyone find it ironic that LEGO doesn’t hold surveys for minors, despite them being the supposedly majority of consumers?

P.S: Yes, I am feeling sour for not being legally allowed to take part in the survey.

    • admin April 7, 2013, 11:59 AM

That is actually a really good point. However this survey was specifically for the AFOL community. As far as I know LEGO regularly has surveys on their website as well that randomly pop up. Aren’t those for all ages? I hope so! Otherwise, yeah, kids rule when it comes to LEGO! Or they supposed to… but we have the money. 🙄

      • Strider April 8, 2013, 7:38 AM

Well soon I will be old enough to mow our lawn and then I can do other peoples and then I won’t have to wait for my next birthday, I can save up for some really big sets :0

        • Fikko3107 April 8, 2013, 10:50 AM

I envy thee who are able to get cash besides from allowance…

    • Laura April 7, 2013, 11:31 PM

That’s what the surveys on the back of the instructions are for! Or, at least, when taking them LEGO seems to assume you are a minor and not an AFOL.

  • Jordan Morrow April 8, 2013, 9:30 AM
