I did that for ya, but please note that sometimes I can’t delete comments when they are already in a comment-tree because it completely messes up the page. 😕

nice post I never knew they were with early I thought they were at about 5:00 bst not 3. also I NEED THAT CLONE… I have a lot of clone but with phase 1 captain rex,2 phase 2 501st,and 501st pilot, and now I need a phase 1 501st lieutenant then I will have the 501st battalion( well enough troopers for a squad and airstrike). LEGO really need a star wars battle pack with delta squad or 4 clone commandos( best as omega squad karten mark III matte black)

        • benny September 3, 2013, 4:20 PM

either cos we are cool or they don’t have as much UK sales as USA 😛

          • Chi-bacca September 3, 2013, 5:23 PM

Yeah we are cool that’s definitely the reason 😀
One thing I don’t get though- America gets sets before us but we are closer to Denmark?! Something’s in this world don’t make sense 🙂

            • benny September 4, 2013, 2:10 AM

yeah I agree, I have a friend who lives in Denmark and he has told me when lego sets are out there and they are out in America first!!!

  • Micho September 3, 2013, 12:49 PM

I am going to wait until December 26th to get all the minifigures at $1.00 each at wal Mart 😀
This weekend I got the SpongeBob Flying Dutchman $17.00 and the Stra Wars Gungan Sub $40.00, I’m keeping the Dutchman and hopefully I can flip the Sub later this year.

    • admin September 3, 2013, 2:04 PM

Micho, nice haul! As far as the minifigs, I would have a backup plan. LEGO has been far better managing their minifig distribution and in my experience Wal-Mart stores don’t have the kind of extreme surplus they had in previous years.

  • legostuff71 September 3, 2013, 12:55 PM

I have the Ewok village and its worth every penny. As, for the 1,990 pieces go it is a fun and a lot faster build than I thought.

    • admin September 3, 2013, 2:05 PM

Glad to hear you got it already! I have read some reviews and others also said building the set was a nice experience, except for those railings around the trees with the flex-tubes. 🙄

  • Bill D. September 3, 2013, 8:19 PM

While it might be cool to get some licensed character waves (particularly if it means we get more superheroes that aren’t likely to show up in other sets), I hate to see the line go entirely licensed because there are still so many “generic” character types that we haven’t seen yet. I’m hoping we’ll see a little of that in the Lego Movie line, at least (and if they’re doing a Lego Movie line, can they backtrack and do Lego City Undercover? Who doesn’t want minifig Starsky and Hutch??)

  • legostuff71 September 3, 2013, 8:27 PM

Yes, the railing were a bit of a challenge. But, what’s a LEGO set with out a challenge.(megablocks?)

    • admin September 4, 2013, 11:57 AM

Yeah, that’s true! A little challenge is a good thing! 😀

  • Kbomb26 September 4, 2013, 11:23 AM

I know this maybe isn’t the right place to comment, but it’ll have to do. I’ve got an idea to take a fifty-five gallon aquarium and build a Lego castle for my three sons, complete with working draw bridges powered by bubble hose and what-not. I’m not a master builder by any means and the castle sets I’ve looked at so far (and I only just started!!) are smaller than what I’d like to see in the tank, the dimensions are 4′ x 18” x 13”. Also, I know that I have the fish and plants to consider so, I know that it will have to be something I design and build myself. I’m most worried about the Lego’s coming apart and floating in the tank and choking the fish that’ll be living in there. So, any tips or tricks would be helpful. I’d also love a buncha “Hey, you know what would be cool….” comments. Thanks a million!!

    • admin September 4, 2013, 12:17 PM

Hm… that’s an interesting idea. I know there have been others who have built castles or other landscapes inside fish-tanks, so it can be done. As far as LEGO falling aparts and choking your fish, I don’t think that will happen. The clutch-power of LEGO is very strong. However you might want to stay away from using very small parts that could perhaps be knocked off while you are cleaning the aquarium.

If you do a google image search for LEGO aquarium, you will actually see some really nice models that should give you good ideas and inspiration. I would maybe build something smaller first, like maybe a castle outpost or watch-tower to see how it looks and holds up under water, and if you run into any challenges. One of the things to keep in mind is that LEGO floats. So you would need to consider using a larger baseplate, and probably partially hide it under the sand to keep the whole construction at the bottom of the tank.

Actually, now that I think about it, official LEGO sets could be perfect for a fish-tank because of their airy and open design; the fish can go in and out – which should be fun to see. You can consider the current LEGO castle sets, or maybe even some of the sets from underwater LEGO themes like Atlantis, which has a really nice underwater palace.

Would love to see how your idea develops, so keep us posted. 🙂

    • Chi-bacca September 4, 2013, 3:11 PM

      Wow that’s a good idea! 😀
As admin said the Atlantis theme had some good stuff that would work well like the city of Atlantis and the gateway with the squid in it I own majority of the first wave of this theme as I won them in a competition and each one is a great set. Another thing to consider is the plant colour and fish colour as you don’t want the LEGO to blend in with the surroundings. Oh and I just thought of this- how about you buy a pirate ship (preferably brick built hull) and mak a shipwreck. I think they did something like this in the aqua raiders theme so that could be worth checking out. Hope this helped 😀

      • admin September 4, 2013, 3:13 PM

What an excellent idea with the ship-wreck! I would love to see that! 😀
