Well that was a wierd episode. The fog of destiny part was kinda triply and the exile at the end? That may be the cue for lavertus, speaking of which a minifig for him has been stolen and pictures released BTW ๐Ÿ˜€

Hi Admin! I saw Episode 17 – Laval in E-X-I-L-E exile! SPOILER ALERT!!!

Laval was banished from the tribe because remember when he stole the golden orb in episode 16? Before he leaves, Rogon gives him a rock named “Chip”. Laval goes all the way to the top of Spiral Mountain. He was just about to drink from his honey cup that Bladvic gave him, when suddenly he saw Skinnet! Laval asked Skinnet what he was doing there. Laval explained that he had been banished and no one was supposed to talk to him . Even worse, Ripnick stole Laval’s cape, harness and sword!! LaGravis sees someone zipping on Laval’s speedor and thinks its Laval, but when he catches up to him, he finds out it is not Laval! But instead, CRAGGGGGGEERRRR!! Cragger orders the croc guards to capture LaGravis. They throw him into the deepest darkest dungeon, but then he finds out he is not alone. Crooler is also there. She tells LaGravis the story about when she and Cragger were born. Crooler was really the first born, but she accidentally knocked Cragger’s egg out of the nest, and Queen Crunket thought Cragger died. She and Crominus were so happy to see he was alive that they called him ‘Miracle Baby’ and thought he was the first born. This made Crooler try to get all the attention to her (she said “Like, hello???”) because she was the first born, the real heir to throne. But her parents didn’t listen. So, when they vanished Cragger became king.

Meanwhile, Laval was still trying to escape Skinnet and Plovar at the Fangs but then he bumps right into Shadowind. Guess what Shadowind gives him – the Pledge of the Pack! Somehow it got out of the Gorge! But it was covered in outland sap. Then Laval got his cape, sword and harness back and rescued his father by giving the Pledge to Cragger. He wanted to give Cragger hope that his parents were still alive. It does not seem like Cragger believed him, though. When Laval and LaGravis showed up at the lion temple, Eris was so happy to see Laval that she knocked him off his speedor and they burst out laughing!

    Enjoy the whole episode!

        • admin October 30, 2013, 9:09 AM

Keith, it is possible that your Adobe Flashplayer is out of date. You do need Flashplayer to play videos. Try watching the episode at the following link, but please be careful as it is a site that will try to download viruses to your computer. Use Firefox with AdBlock turned on: http://www.animeflavor.com/lego-legends-of-chima-episode-16

If it still tells you that you need to update Flashplayer, then DO NOT CLICK on any links, but go directly to Adobe’s website to download it from there.

  • CrazyBricks October 30, 2013, 1:12 AM

Here is my one word summary of this episode: wierd

  • Legozebra October 30, 2013, 3:11 AM

I actually liked this episode, even though it was a little… Strange. I thought Laval had great character development- I’m sure he wouldn’t have accepted exile and obeyed the rules in the first few episodes! Only complaint was that too much of the episode (in my opinion) was focused on the dream chi battle, which reminded me of transformers where there was too much action and it was hard to tell each character from the other

Can’t wait to see episode 17! Any links to it, admin? Thanks!

    • admin October 30, 2013, 9:06 AM

Thanks! And thanks for warning about the ads

        I used adblock

I heard episode 18 is called “Dark Tribes of Chima” Perhaps this will introduce spiders, scorpions, bats etc!

        • admin November 4, 2013, 9:14 AM

Yeah, sounds like it! The Dark Tribes are coming to get us! ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

          • ChimaFan November 5, 2013, 7:07 PM

Yeah the Dark tribes may have came from the outlands, [Spoiler] (If you watched the ending on the Black cloud it shows Mount Cavora Waterfalls disappearing! D: it fears Chima is Doomed…)

            • admin November 5, 2013, 9:40 PM

Yeah, I was wondering aobut that last scene. It seems like all was going well and they got rid of the bats, but in all that celebration they didn’t notice the flowing of the CHI stopped… ๐Ÿ˜

  • Cragger the king of chima October 31, 2013, 1:38 PM

Hey I heard about episode 18 the black clouds and It said laval and eris tried to go into a black cloud and it fought back that has to be bats after all bats are known to fly in black clouds!!!!!!!! Ps tell me what you think

  • Cragger the king of chima October 31, 2013, 1:40 PM

Oh and is shadow wind a bat or Lavurtus and if the black cloud is bats are they working for shadow wind!!!!!!gggrrraaarrr

    • Kabooshka November 2, 2013, 6:28 AM

Shadow Wind is almost certainly Lavertus. Episode 17 gives us plenty of evidence (“Haven’t heard from him”, “Amazing warrior”, “best friend”) and Episode 18 supports this. Although many people here believe Shadow Wind was leading the bats (which is the black cloud) they are only partially right, in my opinion. I think that Shadow Wind was leading the bats AWAY from Mount Cavorra because he knows the threat that they pose to Chima by attacking it. However, this might be wrong and further possibilities are explored below.

My other prediction is that Cragger will get his parents back at the end of this season of Chima (roughly 22-24 episode mark) so as to make room for the new antagonists in the bats, spiders and scorpions. Crooler, if not working with the bats etc., will still be working behind the scenes of the crocodiles to try and usurp the throne, perhaps even leading to the actual death of her parents.

And the season will almost certainly end on a cliffhanger, and there are a few possible scenarios in my mind that could happen:

      1) Shadow Wind will reveal himself as Lavertus and announce his contempt for the behaviour of the tribes of Chima.
      2) Crooler, after her parents’ return, flees Chima to the outlands and meets with the Bats to plan an attack.
      3) Lagravis is forced to abdicate, putting an unprepared Laval in charge of the Lion tribe.
      4) The Legend Beasts return during a climactic final battle but an insane Cragger kills/injures the Lion, weakening the Lion Tribe immensely.
      5) Crooler discovers a new batch of hypnotising plants at the edge of the outlands whereupon she is kidnapped and put under the mind control of the Bats/Spiders/Scorpions.

All of these are possibilities, some more likely than others. Tell me which one you like the most. I think the 2nd is the most likely but my favourite to see would be the fourth.

      • admin November 2, 2013, 10:54 AM

Reasonable theories. One thing I would like to point out that in LEGO movies nobody ever dies. ๐Ÿ˜‰

      • legozebra November 3, 2013, 3:54 PM

I saw the preliminary pics and ShadoWind (as it calls him) has a lion’s head… but this could just be preliminaries replacing new items like his helmet

  • PackLeaderWorriz October 31, 2013, 7:10 PM

Admin – I saw Episode 18 and I think it was strange when Crug and Crawley walked right into the Outlands! Are they crazy or what? Cragger the King of Chima is right in his comment above – there is a strange black cloud that threatens all of Chima and all the tribes have to work together to fight it!

    • admin November 1, 2013, 9:14 AM

Interesting… I haven’t watched it yet, but it seems like the last three episodes have been quite bizarre. ๐Ÿ˜•

  • Cragger the king of chima October 31, 2013, 9:20 PM

Thanks worriz and I’m 100 percent sure there are going to be scorpions in chima I saw on the 2014 Lego chima pictures there heads look like the mantis guards from Atlantis and there tails like doc ock from spider man Lego sets!!!!!!!!!!

  • PackLeaderWorriz November 1, 2013, 5:11 PM

Admin: I am not sure how to explain this, but the black cloud in Episode 18 was chasing Shadow Wind OR he’s leading it?!?!? Who would be weird enough to lead a black cloud though?

  • Kabooshka November 1, 2013, 7:05 PM

Back from my trip to China and I get an episode which ties up many loose ends and introduces a whole slew of possibilities for the future, AND the news that my prediction was accurate and we have unofficial announcements of three new tribes (including bats, ohgosh)? Awesome.

The episode isn’t amazing – in fact, I found it pretty weak. But the scene where Laval steals the golden CHI is excellent and opens up so many doors to other subplots and intricacies – this is why Chima is better than Ninjago: there’s endless variety. Looking forward to coming episodes for sure.

  • Chimafan November 2, 2013, 8:31 PM

    • admin November 3, 2013, 10:41 AM

  • ChimaFan November 5, 2013, 7:11 PM

Can’t wait for the new EPISODE and TRIBES this episode “The Dark tribes” Has to be EPIC and hope Shadows wind reveals himself as Lavertus!!!!

  • Tenny1028 November 6, 2013, 12:24 AM

    Sorry… But not really

  • PackLeaderWorriz November 6, 2013, 7:17 PM

Admin: When I saw Episode 18, Cragger is mad when he hears that Plovar cleaned Crug and Crawley’s teeth. Crug says yeah – every since you got mad at Plovar and chased him off, we figured maybe he could clean our teeth instead? Cragger got so mad at them that he burst into the air! Later, Laval and Eris were flying right to Mount Cavora to find out why it was blocking the black cloud, but they were knocked away by a shield. They landed all the way in the tree of the gorilla village! Gorzan peeks out and says – hey neighbor dudes, when did you move in? And Laval answers…..uh, a few seconds ago! Gorzan replies — cool!

  • Sensei Garmadon November 7, 2013, 8:28 PM

    When are episodes released?

    • admin November 7, 2013, 9:04 PM

New episodes are on Cartoon Network each week. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • Kabooshka November 8, 2013, 2:52 AM

If you’re wondering when, it’s usually Saturdays (I believe) but some get to see the episodes early and upload them online, so episode 19 (Chima Falls, excellent name) is available to watch now despite it supposed to be coming out tomorrow.

  • PackLeaderWorriz November 8, 2013, 7:37 AM

Admin: I saw Episode 19 – Chima Falls. The tribes were able to defeat the black cloud, but then all the water falls disappeared from Mount Cavora! Everyone looked up and was shocked to see there was no chi water! Cragger was so mad, he told everyone that it was Laval’s fault since Laval told everyone to shoot down the black cloud. Now everyone has lost their chi! LaGravis and Laval are hopeful the legend beasts will come save Chima.

Laval told Eris to visit the beavers and ask them to fix Mount Cavora. Fix it – fix it – fix it!!! So the beavers decide to use a sling shot to get up to Mount Cavora, but they keep missing! Eris said they didn’t have very good eye sight.

Meanwhile, Cragger forces the Wolves to join them by showing them that he has the Pledge of the Pack. Cragger also convinces the Rhinos to be on their side by giving them a free pile of rocks. When Eris and Laval come to visit the Rhinos, Rogon ends up attacking Laval! This is despite the fact that Rogon was happy because Eris called her his girlfriend — but then when Rogon attacked Laval, Eris shouted she was leaving and later declared herself to be Rogon’s “ex” girlfriend.

The gorillas and bears agree to help the lions, but before they could do anything, the crocs, wolves, rhinos and ravens charged the lion temple and began to attack! Stay tuned to next episode to see what happens! Will the legend beasts show up???

    • admin November 8, 2013, 11:24 AM

Great summary! Can’t wait to see what happens next! ๐Ÿ˜€

  • Kabooshka November 8, 2013, 1:25 PM

And what an episode Chima Falls is! If I had to describe it in one word, it would be “perfection”. Chima Falls is the best episode we’ve seen yet and I doubt that it will be bested, in this season or the next (the next episode will be the last, probably). The opening scene where the falls stop is perfectly executed, the wolves are acting sensibly for once (and more implied romance with Windra), the beaver sub-story is funny and gives some nice attention to the oft-ignored beavers, the Rogon and Eris romance is nicely concluded and the introduction of the rhinos as enemies to the Lions and Eagles is an unexpected twist. And then there’s the ending… Just wow.

  • Pia November 8, 2013, 6:31 PM

I think that shadow wind is lavertus so he can come in contact with other animals

  • Pia November 8, 2013, 6:34 PM

Wait so the rhinos are bad guys?

    • admin November 8, 2013, 7:43 PM

I don’t think they are bad, they just a bit dumb – in a cute way – and they were simply manipulated.

  • Johnny Appleseed November 24, 2014, 3:43 AM
