I saw these in store. Yes I want them. I like the Lake Town Chase the best.

  • Beardless Dwarf December 6, 2013, 11:21 AM

AWESOME!!! Can’t wait to pick some of these up! The descriptions for the Dol Guldur Battle and the Lake-Town Chase are switched so you might want to fix that ๐Ÿ™‚

      Thanks for catching that! ๐Ÿ˜‰

The pricing is mixed up too. 79014 Dol Guldur Battle should be $69.99 and 79013 Lake-town Chase should be $49.99

I like it very much( all sets). In fact I had a jump start on these sets two weeks before it was scheduled to come out. I think we all know want toy store put things out early before anyone else.

    • Chi-bacca December 6, 2013, 1:37 PM

Where I live there is no snow apart from about once or twice in February and even then there’s barely any ๐Ÿ™

      • Chris of Yoda Archives December 7, 2013, 1:43 AM

wintry mix here. No snow just ice and freezing rain.

      • Ike December 9, 2013, 11:55 AM

Usually there’s not much snow here till January, but this year it’s really coming down!

      • ninja of stealth December 9, 2013, 12:14 PM

well it doesn’t snow here very much either. we were just hit by a big snow storm! ๐Ÿ˜€ and the snow is still here!

  • lego trooper 91 December 6, 2013, 1:45 PM

I saw these sets in the lego cadilog a week (or more) ago ๐Ÿ˜€

    • admin December 6, 2013, 4:52 PM

Yeah, I did too. The LEGO Catalog often lists upcoming sets that are not yet available. In fact I believe the last catalog is called later winter, or late holiday, and I got it back at the beginning of November. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Why are they escaping from Lake Town instead of the the Wood Elves? Did Peter Jackson actually make that change or is it a LEGO thing? I might have to buy both the Mirkwood and Lake Town sets just to get the story right.
I’ve got a bad feeling about this.

  • legostuff71 December 6, 2013, 3:52 PM

Remember, the dwarves are being hunted by the orcs. The barrel escape set( last year sets) is before lake town and I have a feeling that not only did the orcs traced the dwarves to the elves but, also to lake town. That is probably why we have the Mirkwood elf army. At this point , I also think that the dwarves have already escaped( the orcs are attacking mirkwood.)

I bet the guy that bought Azog for $1,500 is mad.

I saw the season finale of Legends of Chima. I saw Laval’s death and it was epic! P.S. only in this episode Laval wasn’t wearing his crown, faked his death, and Queen Crunnket is back which means there’s a new season!

  • NoahNace10 December 7, 2013, 11:21 PM

I love these! I’m totally gonna get these! I can’t wait at all!

  • Luke-Hammerhand December 9, 2013, 3:49 PM

I think I’m gonna have to add these to my christmas list now that they’re out…
