Get the LEGO Legends of Chima soundtrack!

Although LEGO Legends of Chima is geared towards a very young television audience, the music by Danish composer Anthony Lledo (Screamfest Award winner for his Frostbitten score, released by MovieScore Media in 2006) is very much grown up. Written in the tradition of big orchestral fantasy-film scores and championing strong melodic content and colorful orchestrations, Legends of Chima is a mature symphonic score worthy of any epic story โ€“ and certainly a perfect accompaniment to the magical word of Chima. ๐Ÿ™‚

Legends of Chima Sound-Track

For the Legends of Chima soundtrack album the composer has compiled the best music from the TV show creating a varied and exciting collection, expertly mastered by engineering veteran John Rodd (Elysium). Below is a bit of info from the official press-release:

Legends of Chima is a direct continuation of the composerโ€™s long-time association with LEGO, M2 Film and director Peder Pedersen for whom he adapted classic John Williams themes for LEGO Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Brick (2008), LEGO Star Wars: The Quest for R2-D2 (2009) and Star Wars: Bombad Bounty (2010) – all directed by Legends of Chima co-director Pedersen. Anthony Lledoโ€™s work on Legends of Chima is an exciting, colorful and impressively epic score that plays an important role in expanding the world of Chima. The music benefits from the great support coming from live musicians: strings and brass are recorded by the F.A.M.E.’s orchestra is Skopje, Macedonia while woodwinds are recorded in Los Angeles. Highlights include the whimsical Playful Tribes, the majestic Chi and the epic The Great Story which features a guest performance by Anthonyโ€™s son, Elliot. The 13 tracks contain the most memorable moments from Legends of Chima.”

The total length of the Legends of Chima album is little over half an hour long. Below is the track-list from the album:

  2. Chi – 2:40

I’m sorry to get off topic so soon, but this is beneficial to every reader in my opinion. Looks like wal Mart is starting to slash prices on LEGO now. Some reports have stated that they found 50 to 58% off TLR, LOTR, SpongeBob, City, and Galaxy Squad. I personally went to 3 walmarts yesterday and only one had decent sales, not quite 50% off but I got 3 Superman Lex Luthor sets for $13 each and there were Shelob Attacks sets for the same price. The City rocket Ship was $34 at 50% off as well. So start checking the clearance isles. I’m hitting 3 more Walmarts and a Target out of town today and I’ll report any findings.

Thanks, Micho! I have been waiting for the prices to drop! At Wal-Mart were the discounted sets in the clearance isles or in the main LEGO isle? Also, did you see any new sets yet? I migth stop by my WM later today. ๐Ÿ™‚

The sets were in the Clearnace isles at the one Wal Mart that actually had clearance LEGO. And they did have most of the new Movie sets at all three WalMarts. I wanna hit the other stores before the crazy New Year’s day shoppers, because I’ll miss out. Let me knwo if you find anything, it’s always exciting to hear what kind of deals people pick up.

Heres another link for some very good discounts: http://www.yoyo.com/subcat=LEGO-10427/Other+Ways+to+Shop=Clearance%7CSale

Extra 20% off Clearance toys with coupon code TOYSALE20.
I got 3 TLR Silver Mine shootouts at $39.99 and a Black Zero Escape for $14.40. Free shipping on any original price of $49.99 i think. I hope you don’t mind me posting the link, if it’s not OK you can take it down of course ๐Ÿ™‚

Well… nothing in northern AZ… although these were three of the best stocked wallys and Target… Target had so many cool sets at 15% off… i wish it was closer so that i could bite on 30 and 40% off but they’re 4 hours away ๐Ÿ™

I read on BrickLink that select Wal-Mart stores had 50% off on pretty much everything LEGO. But the same person said that she had friends who checked in other nearby WMs and there was no sale going on at all. So it seems that it depends on the store. I do remember the same thing happenign a couple of years ago when the WM closest to me had all LEGO 50% off, but the Super WM just a couple of miles away didn’t.

I thought we did. I clearly remember that all the music was downloadable. I don’t have the time right now to find the link again, but if you need it let me know and I will search for it later. ๐Ÿ˜‰
