LEGO FUSION new website & video preview

Just a few days ago we talked about LEGO FUSION, which combines virtual play and building with real LEGO elements (see full press release with details here: LEGO FUSION – Blending Real & Digital Worlds). There has been a lot of interest in this new way to play, so I thought to share with you some updates. LEGO FUSION now has a dedicated official website, and also LEGO released a preview video introducing the four upcoming LEGO FUSION sets that will be released later this year. 🙂

LEGO FUSION Website

For your reference, the four sets will be #21204 LEGO FUSION Town Master based on LEGO City, #21205 LEGO FUSION Battle Towers based on LEGO Castle, #21206 LEGO FUSION Create & Race based on LEGO Racers, and #21208 LEGO FUSION Resort Designer based on LEGO Friends.

As you can see in the video-preview above, In #21204 LEGO FUSION Town Master you rule your town and create it the way you want by building with real LEGO bricks that come alive on your smartphone or tablet. In #21025 LEGO FUSION Battle Towers you build your battle tower with real LEGO bricks, then defend it on your smartphone or tablet in an unpredictable virtual world when invaders attack. In #21206 LEGO FUSION Create & Race you design, build and drive your virtual car creations made with real LEGO bricks. Top the leaderboard and race for glory on your smartphone or tablet. In #21208 LEGO FUSION Resort Designer you help the LEGO Friends build a dream summer resort with real LEGO bricks and see it come to life on your smartphone or tablet.

LEGO FUSION Details

As I have mentioned LEGO FUSION now also has a dedicated website which went live just a few days ago. Not much info yet, but you can see the same preview videos as I showed you above, and also some preliminary information about the upcoming sets. You can visit the website here to look around yourself: LEGO FUSION website

Purchased the lego Fusion and brought it back to Canada. Unable to download the app. Any idea when the apple app will be up and running in Canada?

Brent, I would suggest you call LEGO’s customer service. This is still a very new item so they may not be entirely ready, or perhaps they are still some glitches with the app. That would be my guess. Buy yeah, please call. They should be able to help you out.

Okay for Lego Fusion app to work for all you Canadians. Must go to the App Store. And scroll to the bottom and go into your I D. From there change region or country. You must select none for your payment method, which is fine as Lego Fusion is Free. Then pick a state and make up a 5 number zip code. Complete and then for into lego Fusion and download app. I then went back and made the changes back for my Canadian account. Thanks to my son , we worked together and made it work. Great game by the way!

Brent, thanks for sharing that! I really appreciate you coming back and helping out other Canadian readers. Also thank your son on our behalf, and have fun with the game! 😛

A HUGE THANK-YOU to Brent for posting the Canadian hack! I ordered Battle Towers via Amazon for my son & he literally squealed when it was delivered. But if not for the smart IPAD hack, he would gave been in tears nit being able to play. Awesome game LEGO!
