Custom LEGO WWII Items by BrickForge

LEGO customizer BrickForge has a whole new range of minifigure accessories that I thought you might like. This time the theme is WWII, with a really nice color scheme and printed items. This collection is called Wave 1, so I assume there are also going to be future releases in the theme.

The WWII custom LEGO accessories by BrickForge include helmets, caps, backpacks, pouches and suspenders (with attachment points for accessories) – all for your minifigs to wear. Then of course there are also weapons and other equipment for your minifigs to use in combat. Several of the items are printed to give more detail.

As you probably know from previous articles, I’m a big fan of BrickForge and their custom LEGO accessories. Their quality, color selection, attention to detail, and wide variety of minifigure tools, weapons, armor, helmets makes them one of the top LEGO customizers. I especially appreciate their color selection, as most other LEGO customizers release items in only one or maybe two colors. To have such variety gives so much more options and realism. Also, BrickForge’s prices are excellent. In fact, you can get an entire WWII Starter Kit, for only $5!

If you are interested in the new selection you can check out BrickForge’s Online Shop. Here I’m directly linking to the new WWII items, but you can also check out their full selection from the sidebar. BrickForge representatives also frequently attend LEGO shows and conventions, so if you happen to visit one, check out the vendors. It is really nice to see all the custom LEGO items in person.

These are really cool, but I think that they are a little over detailed. If I want realistic looking weapons, I prefer the KRE-O ones. But I really do like that vest! I also really like their pack.

Carbo, I actually also like the KRE-O weapons. But I really like this selection from BrickForge too. Since I wrote this article BrickForge actually announced that they will be moving into modular weapons and accessories fully. They call it the BrickForge Rigged System. ๐Ÿ˜‰

admin I don’t prefer guns that are KRE-O even though they are minifigur size because lego guns are meant for lego

Does the figure shown come in the pack

    • admin August 11, 2014, 12:41 PM

No, of course not. That would be an insane steal. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I must say they did a nice job on the minifigs in the pic ;P

I wanted to buy a few of these from somewhere else, and they were expensive so I let them go. I’ll definetly be buying a few of these, just gotta wait for the Starter Kit to come back.

The starter-kit is out already? Wow! That was fast! I’m sure it will be back though. It is a nice way to check out the whole modular system.

I’ve noticed these before, and I want to try the modular system. Speaking of Brickforge, they rearranged their website and brought back some items.

Very cool, though I doubt I will ever get any. ๐Ÿ˜• I want more medieval/LotR weapons, like Mini Long Swords.
Also, a list of possible 2015 SW sets has been released: http://brickset.com/article/12011/rumoured-list-of-2015-star-wars-sets
    Rather uninteresting looking. ๐Ÿ˜
Admin, are you going to announce the winners of the Ninjago contest tomorrow?

    • admin August 11, 2014, 3:33 PM

Yes, probably tomorrow. I have a really busy day today, but possibly tonight I can count all the entries. I know there were some double and some comments that were not entries, so I have to go through them carefully. But, yes, I will do it as soon as I can. ๐Ÿ™‚

I got a free BrickForge gun upon entrance to BBTB. It came with a 10% off coupon I have to use before November 30. I’ll finally be making a purchase from them. Not sure how many weapons I’ll buy but the scooters and some hair pieces and golf clubs are some on my list.

    • admin August 11, 2014, 3:31 PM

Kim, also check out the mushrooms. They are some of my favorite items from BF. The scooters are very sweet. I have two of them, and would really like to get some more. ๐Ÿ™‚

Just to let everyone know, the Minifigure torso and legs used for these figures are from Citizen Brick, I know there’s been a lot of confusion about this around the forums and blogs, so I thought I’d try to clear that up.

    • admin August 11, 2014, 9:13 PM

Thanks for clarifying that. I knew they were not BrickForge’s own printing, but I wasn’t sure who’s it was.
