LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin video-game

A new video-game for LEGO Ninjago fans has been released just a few days ago. LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin is an action-adventure game developed by TT Fusion (a subsidiary of TT Games) for the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita. It tells a previously untold story from the LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu TV show, and is a sequel to the LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids video-game released in 2014. Below you can find out more about the new game and where you can get it. 🙂

LEGO Ninjago Shadow of Ronin Video-Game

Here is the official description of the video-game: There is a new threat in Ninjago, and his name is Ronin. With help from his army of dark samurai, Ronin steals the Ninjas’ memories using an ancient weapon called the Obsidian Glaive. The Ninjas forget how to use their elemental powers, and it is up to the players to help them find their Obsidian weapons, regain their memories and reclaim their powers before Ronin completes his plan and releases an even greater evil on Ninjago. In LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin players battle through iconic locales from the TV series, including the Ice Temple, the Toxic Bogs, and a mysterious new island, as well as visit the mountain village of Spinjago, where the Ninjas are currently training with Grand Sensei Dareth and Sensei Wu. Using their Spinjitzu abilities, players can unleash their Ninja’s elemental power to smash their way through enemies and solve puzzles. They can even team up and create multi-elemental builds using the Tornado of Creation.

The trailer looks fun. Is this game interesting enough for adults?

    • admin April 4, 2015, 1:55 PM

It depends. A lot of adults enjoy LEGO games, although others who are used to more advanced games would find them too simple. They are quite entertaining with funny humor. The graphics are excellent, and the game-play is not too easy, not too hard. You just have to try one and see how you like it. 😉

OMG! THAT SOUNDS AMAZING! to bad it is for 3ds and psvita.if they ares gong to make episodes of that…it would be better than last season.

I’m not sure I like the way the characters’ faces look, but other than that it sounds cool. Too bad it (and the rest of the Ninjago games) are only for mini-consoles like 3DS and such. And I have to wonder: if Ronin is a bad-guy in the game, whose team is he on in the episodes? Based on the look of Ronin R.E.X. ( set #70735), it almost appears he’s with the Ninja. 😕
And what are the chances the temple (seen on the left in the background of the poster in this article) is the Temple set coming out later this year?

Ahhh… good notice about the temple! It could very well be as you said. I’m really looking forward to that set! It suppose to be the largest Ninjago set to date! As far as Ronin, we just have to wait and see how the story plays out.

The box cover states “Playable in 2D and 3D”. What’s the 2D mode like?

    • admin April 5, 2015, 9:21 AM

Hakan, I looked around but I haven’t seen any review mentioning the difference between the 2D and 3D version, but there are not many reviews of the game yet as it is very new. I’m hoping the BrickShow guys will do a review and they will talk about it.

I love The Brick Show. I remember when the announcement for the Lego Movie came out on Lego.com, The Brick Show found the picture of #70808 Super Cycle Chase. I ended up owning that set.

That is a sweet set that I own as well. 🙂

    • admin April 10, 2015, 8:35 AM

Good point. Maybe with the new Ninjago movie they will make one. I wouldn’t be surprised. 🙂

And I wish the Ninjago game wasn’t just for 3ds and Vista.I used to have a 3ds,but needless to say,my mom didn’t appreciate my..hacking skills.xD Hopefully,if they make another game they’ll design it for other consoles. :/ Still looks really cool though!

Hey do you know when will episode 43 be available here? I cant find it anywhere else… 🙁

    • admin May 19, 2015, 1:50 PM

John, LEGO has been uploading the episodes on their YouTube Channel, but recently they have taken them all down. I’m not sure why. Hopefully they will re-upload them soon.
