Contest to build a LEGO Ninjago trophy!

A few days ago we discussed a really awesome contest announced in the July-August issue of the LEGO Club Magazine (see link at the end of this post), and today I would like to bring your attention to another great contest announced in the same issue of the magazine, this time for LEGO Ninjago fans. Below is the official announcement and all the details you need to know to enter the contest. Good luck! ๐Ÿ™‚

LEGO Ninjago Contest LEGO Club Magazine

โžก LEGO NINJAGO CONTEST INTRODUCTION: In the July August issue of the LEGO Club Magazine there are a couple of pages dedicated to the new LEGO Ninjago Airjitzu flyers and how to use them. There is also a call-to-action to host your own Airjitzu tournament, competing against your friends. Some suggestions are given of the type of challenges you can try. (We have also discussed some ways to compete with the Airjitzu flyers in this article: LEGO Ninjago Airjitzu Flyers Available Now!). It is on this same page where the LEGO Ninjago contest is announced.

โžก LEGO NINJAGO CONTEST DETAILS: Enter for your chance to Win! Create the ultimate Airjitzu Tournament Trophy and you could win one of five #70735 LEGO Ninjago Ronin R.E.X. sets! Your tournament will need a trophy for the winner and we want you to create it! Build a prize worthy of the champion using your LEGO collection – the more awesome and imaginative the better. The five top models will win a #70735 LEGO Ninjago Ronin R.E.X. and the winners will be featured with their models in an upcoming Cool Creations section of the LEGO Club Magazine later in the year. So basically you just need to build a Ninjago-themed model that could work as a trophy for winners of an Airjitzu tournament. There are no other requirements, so you can build the trophy any way you like.

i almost bought one of these the other day at the LEGO store but they seem gauged toward younger kids and just don’t look super fun so i didn’t. ๐Ÿ˜‰ miss the spinners!

    • admin July 18, 2015, 12:41 PM

Yeah, I really liked the spinners too. But at least for kids the flyers are fun too. But the spinners were definitely more LEGO-ish.

I have like forty of them I have a whole stack of cards from the game when I used to like ninjago a lot. Remember the skeletons?

Looks like a pretty neat contest, I’ll certainly try to enter if I have time! And besides, I was planning to get the R.E.X. anyhow, so if by any chance I should happen to win it would save me a bit of money! ๐Ÿ˜‰

What if I don’t have a airjitzu spine And I can’t get one what can I do. ?

        • admin July 27, 2015, 8:35 PM

Tosh, you don’t have to have any Airjitzu sets to create a trophy. The trophy could be anything. ๐Ÿ˜‰

This is a double bummer because I live in the UK and I got the Ronin R.E.X. last Sunday. =P Why can’t LEGO make a competition on Europe, where Denmark ACTUALLY is? ๐Ÿ˜• ๐Ÿ˜

    • admin July 19, 2015, 9:37 AM

Yeah, I’m not sure why they don’t have it in Europe and the rest of the world. But at least Europe.

Have the winners been chosen or contacted? My 7 year old son entered the content, and we have been waiting patiently for some news, but now we are very curious and anxious to find out if he was a winner or not. Thank you so much!!

    • admin August 28, 2015, 10:12 AM

Stephanie, I’m not sure. The contest closed a couple of weeks ago, so they may still be in the process of deciding on the winners. Especially since this is a building contest it can take a while. I would say give them time until the end of September.

  • STEPHANIE MILLS September 1, 2015, 11:14 PM

That’s what I thought, but just wanted to check! My little ones are so excited and I told them I would try to find out some information about the build! Thank you for responding!!

I was featured in a magazine in cool creations in a “building competition” section for this…

I never got a set. I dont even know if I won. You would think I did.

Pidkay, did you contact anyone at LEGO to ask? Cool that you got featured!
