LEGO Jurassic World – fun LEGO brickfilms

The BrotherhoodWorkshop recently released a number of excellently animated LEGO Jurassic World videos that I though to share with you today. They are fun and entertaining – perfect for the weekend. Kevin will also take us behind-the-scenes to show some of his tips and tricks on how the videos were made. So grab your popcorn and enjoy! 🙂

LEGO Jurassic World by the BrotherhoodWorkshop

The first video is a mini-movie titledA Day in the Life at LEGO Jurassic World”, and it was commissioned by the LEGO Group to promote the new LEGO Jurassic World sets. They provided Kevin the script and the story-boards so he had a clear idea what LEGO was looking for, while also leaving him room for creativity. In the second video Kevin shares how he made some of the most difficult shots in the film. This can be especially valuable for animators who want to learn the art of brickfilming. The third and fourth videos are titled “LEGO Jurassic World: Little Arms, Big Feet” and “LEGO Jurassic World: The Raptors Strike” – both are short and funny. You can watch all four videos in the player below.

Funny, aren’t they? I have found the behind-the-scenes footage particularly interesting. And those dinos definitely look good together in action scenes! If you don’t have them already, you can find reviews on all of the new sets here: LEGO Jurassic World sets Reviews & Details, and you can get them under the LEGO Jurassic World section of the Online LEGO Shop.

Yes, you can really appreciate the videos more by seeing what goes on behind-the-scenes to create them. 🙂

I saw these a wile ago and I thought they were very good. Also off topic but did you know that the instructions to the VIP exclusive Bat-Pod was out?

I saw, that but I really don’t like that vehicle, so have been kind of ignoring it. 🙄

Lol (or the new “hip” one is haha) its not the best but it’s still LEGO news and if people are going to buy it for like $3000 when they can get it for around $40 . Also i’m waiting for it to be approved on Rebrickable so I can get the Bricklink like for all the parts, for an instant buy page.

That’s a good idea about the parts being available as a package.

Also did you know that the gate to Jurassic Park is on LEGO Ideas

    • admin September 13, 2015, 5:16 PM

Yeah, it is mentioned in one of the videos. I didn’t add it to the article as I wanted to keep the article focused, but yes, it is on LEGO Ideas. 🙂
