So many wonderful elements in that valentine’s one. I am particularly interested in the chocolate bar element. I’d love to get a ton of those.

Yeah, just looking at that set makes me hungry! The chocolate bar is a very new element that only appeared in a handful of sets so far.

What other sets has the chocolate bar been it? I feel like this is the first time I’ve seen it.

Sometimes you you don’t have to buy an expensive set to appreciate LEGO. I am looking at all the new sets and theirs a lot of $20 and $30 dollar sets. Not bad LEGO.

I noticed this trend starting to happen in the past year or maybe even couple of years. Small sets have been significantly better than in the past, while large sets also getting much larger. So there is something for everyone. 🙂

Helpful post. The Valentines set value is a great call and holy schnikes, that Ninjago set is an army-building beauty. I’m sure the egg will reemerge in some beautiful Aliens MOCs soon enough.

You’re very welcome. I knew a lot of people will like that little Valentine’s Day set, but it will likely be gone long before Valentine’s Day. So I figured it is best to talk about it sooner than later. 🙂

I purchased the Valentine set to expand the ‘Fun in the park’ and the fountain poly sets. Fwiw I think that the fountain is another excellent small set and it was free to boot.

So yes, I definitly agree that a lot of good value can be found in Lego’s smaller/smallest offerings.
