LEGO Easter raffle for springtime fun!

LEGO is running a fun little campaign for Easter, including a raffle, where participants will have a chance to win a goodie-bag with LEGO related Easter awesomeness and a medium-sized LEGO set. Details on how to enter are enclosed below. 🙂

To participate in this raffle, take an Easter-themed LEGO picture. Your image could be a unique LEGO creations, a minifig doing something Easter-y, etc. Nothing complicated – just a fun Easter-themed picture with LEGO (you can check out the current entries to get an idea). You can also use the LEGO Easter sets and minifigures as props for your image.

Next, add the image to the LEGO Easter Campaign Flickr Group, which will be your raffle ticket for the lucky draw. You can also share your image in other places online like Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, etc., using the hashtag #LEGOEaster, to help with the campaign, but you can only enter the raffle via the above mentioned Flickr Group.

When you submit your image to the LEGO Easter Campaign Flickr Group, add your first name and LEGO User Group affiliation (if you are entering through us, your LUG affiliation will be theBrickBlogger), along with the #LEGOEaster hashtag. If you belong to a local LUG, or other official online group recognized by LEGO, you can enter through them as well (i.e. Brickset, Eurobricks, Brothers-Brick, etc.). So you would write something like: James (or whatever is your name) – theBrickBlogger – #LEGOEaster as the title of your picture.

Please note that you can only enter your image once. Taking pictures from different angles will not give you additional tickets for the lucky draw, although you could enter other pictures, if you like.

Once Easter is over, LEGO will select ten raffle winners from the images in the LEGO Easter Campaign Flickr Group (Easter falls on April 16th this year, so you have about a month to enter). The winners will be contacted via Flickr mail asking for their full name. Their LUG-affiliation will be confirmed by the Ambassador of the LUG (in the case of theBrickBlogger, that’s me), and if everything checks out, the prizes will be shipped to the winners.

And that’s it! Since most of us are using creative usernames here, and I don’t know the real names of all of you, just add a link in the comment section below to your entry in the Flickr Group. This way, I can easily verify your identity in case LEGO picks you as one of the winners! Good luck! 😉

Ooooh exciting! I’ll likely enter via TexLUG, but I do appreciate you reminding me this was a thing 🙂

Yeah, it’s a sweet little offer from LEGO. You can enter under any of your LUG affiliations. It doesn’t really matter. Good luck in the raffle! 😀

Hey I also don’t see the due dates for these anywhere in your post…

The due date is Easter (April 16th). I did mention it in one of the paragraphs.

Ah I was just scanning for an actual date, thanks!

I know. Most people these days only scan articles. 😉

So, we don’t know what the prizes are going to be?

LEGO didn’t mention in detail what the prize is going to be, just that it is a goodie bag and a medium-size set. My guess is that it will include the Easter set, and maybe a few other small sets? I’m not sure. Still, free LEGO is free LEGO, so it’s worth entering, especially since all we need to do is uploading a picture. 😀
