LEGO vintage wedding car & caravan

One of my favorite builders for vintage cars is South Korean LEGO fan Pixeljunkie. Their old style hotrods, pickup trucks, police cars, racecars, and convertibles capture the charm and beauty of classic  favorites. I highly recommend checking out their 1923 Fiat Mefistofele, 1939 Mercedes Benz 540K, 1955 Buick Century, Brabham BT24, Ferrari 312F1, Ferrari 625 TRC Spider, Alfa Romeo Giulietta, Ford Model A convertible, and many more. 🙂

One of Pixeljunkie’s most recent creations is a vintage wedding car with a matching caravan. The vehicle appears to be a classic Rolls Royce, which is common for wedding cars. The caravan also has a classic style with a rounded shape and small size. Vintage caravans like this are still popular for weddings and photo shoots. Interestingly, neither the couple, nor their guests look particularly happy.

Pixeljunkie posted a new picture of the vintage wedding car in the span of several days, revealing more details about both the car and the not-so-happy couple. I’m a little worried about the future of this marriage, but the vehicles look fantastic. Notice some of the sweet details, like the curved fenders, whitewall tires, luxurious interior, and some carefully chosen and cleverly placed custom-chromed elements.

Perhaps Pixeljunkie will continue to update us on the fate of the newlyweds, so keep an eye on their flickr gallery, or you can also follow on Instagram. And if you like classic style LEGO cars, make sure you check out his other builds as well. They really are excellent.

What do you think? How do you like the vintage wedding car and caravan? Do you like to build classic LEGO cars? Feel free to share your own designs and favorites in the comment section below! 😉

Ha-ha! This is great! I agree that the couple doesn’t look so happy. But the car and the camper are great!

Where do you get chrome parts like that? Looks very cool!

There are a number of LEGO customizers who can chrome parts for you. There are several shops on BrickLink that offers this service. 🙂

Are there any pictures of the interior for the trailer? It’s very good. I really like the Coca Cola truck too. Will check out his other stuff.

I haven’t seen a picture of the interior, so you might want to request it via flickr. 🙂

Every minifig, every face, every piece is so carefully chosen. It’s impressive, to say the least. I will surely check out this builder.

Miguel, thanks! Your feedback is always appreciated. I do like to write these types of articles too, so I try to sneak them in between all the LEGO news and reviews. 😀
