Awesome LEGO Brickfilms by Brick Fun Park

I was recently introduced to a LEGO stop-motion animator who goes by the name Brick Fun Park. I really enjoyed their short brickfilms, so I thought to share them with our readers as well. Grab your popcorn, sit back, and enjoy the show!

LEGO Camping – A Crazy Weekend is about a family who decides to take the weekend off and relax in their camper van at the lake side. Things don’t go exactly as planned though. Notice all the clever stop-motion techniques like the opening umbrella, the bees, etc. This is a really well made mini-movie!

LEGO Police – Robbery & Prison Escape is another excellent stop-motion animation, featuring a couple of thieves who attempt to rob a jewelry store. Tremendous amount of work goes into brickfilms like this, so pay attention to the techniques too!

LEGO Pizza – Delivery Fail is yet another enjoyable brickfilm by Brick Fun Park telling the story of a pizza delivery boy who gets in trouble… a lot.

If you like these videos, I recommend visiting Brick Fun Park’s YouTube channel. Unfortunately, they don’t share behind-the-scenes footage or any other fun and interesting facts about their brickfilms, but if you would like to learn how to create LEGO stop-motion videos, I highly recommend The LEGO Animation Book by David Pagano and David Pickett. We reviewed the book here, and you can find it on Amazon: THE LEGO ANIMATION BOOK ON AMAZON

What do you think? How do you like these LEGO stop-motion films? Do you make your own brickfilms? Did you notice any interesting techniques that you would like to try yourself? Are there any other brickfilmers that you really like? Feel free to share and discuss in the comment section below!

These are really well made! I like the stories too. The opening of the umbrella was brilliant!

The vacation one is really good and very funny! The others are great too, but I enjoyed the first one the most. In the pizza video what did they use for the pizza?

I think they used clay. That’s the most common non-lego prop for brickfilmers. It’s good for so many things and it won’t damage your legos.

My kids will love these! Thanks for sharing. I don’t know how people have time and patience for stuff like this. Especially patience.

Ha ha! These are awesome! How come I never saw this channel before? They definitely deserve more views! They should do some behind the scenes and tutorials. Those always add more engagement. People love to see how things are made.

Yeah, I would have love to see that too! 🙂

How are they doing the mouth movements? Do they just change heads between shots? Or are they using an app?

Great videos by the way. I really enjoyed them.

You can use both methods, but here it’s just heads switched out between shots. It’s a lot of work, but it makes brickfilms more authentic.

I would love to learn how to do brickfilming, but I don’t think I have the patience. I was reading that just a few minutes of video can take days to photograph and edit. That scares me a bit. 😀
