LEGO Collectible Minifigs Full Box Available

Just a quick notice that Series 19 of the LEGO Collectible Minifigures is now available as a complete box. While the price-per-minifig is the same, whether you get a full box or you get the minifigs individually, purchasing a full box guarantees that you will get all the minifigures you want (three full collections of all 16 minifigs per box, plus some extras). Series 19 is a particularly excellent collection, so you would probably want extras of some of the characters anyway. And, if you like, you can sell, trade, or give away the rest.

The LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 19 features the following 16 characters: Dog Sitter, Video Game Champ, Shower Guy, Rugby Player, Bear Costume Guy, Pizza Costume Guy, Galactic Bounty Hunter, Monkey King, Programmer, Gardener, Mountain Biker, Fire Fighter, Fright Knight, Jungle Explorer, Mummy Queen and Fox Costume Girl. Each minifigure comes in a sealed ‘mystery’ bag together with one or more accessory elements, plus a collector’s leaflet and a display baseplate. The minifigs are still available as individual mystery packs for $3.99 each, or you can purchase a full box of 60 minifigs for $238.99. They are available at the LEGO Minifigures section of the Online LEGO Shop.

I should also mention that the LEGO Collectible Minifigures Disney Series 2 is also available either individually or as a full box. This series includes the following 18 limited edition Disney characters: Vintage Mickey, Vintage Minnie, Hercules, Jack Skellington, Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Chip, Dale, Jasmine, Jafar, Hades, Elsa, Anna, Sally, Edna, and Frozone. They are also $3.99 each, or you can purchase a full box of 60 minifigs for $239.99. They are available at the LEGO Minifigures section of the Online LEGO Shop.

The LEGO Movie 2 Collectible Minifigures are also still available, but only in individual mystery packs, so you can’t select which characters you want (unless you can find them at a local shop where you can feel through the bags). The 20 different characters are as follows: Awesome Remix Emmet, Battle-Ready Lucy, Apocalypse Benny, Giraffe Guy, Crayon Girl, Sherry Scratchen-Post & Scarfield, Hula Lula, Watermelon Dude, Flashback Lucy, The Swamp Creature, Candy Rapper, Gone Golfin’ President Business, Apocalypseburg Abe, Vest Friend Rex, Kitty Pop, Dorothy Gale & Toto, Cowardly Lion, Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Unikitty. They are on sale at the Online LEGO Shop for $3.19 each, and there is a limit of 50 packets per household.

What do you think? How do you like the LEGO minifigure collections for this year? Which one is your favorite character? Do you collect them all or just get the minifigs you really like? Feel free to share your thoughts and discuss in the comment section below!

I love this series. So many great figs and accessories. They really put the time into designing these. Get a full box. It’s worth it.

I wish they would stop doing them as blind bags. If I’m expected to pay $4, I want the figs I have chosen and not something else. And I heard that next year they are going to raise the price to $5. I like the collectible figs, but I want to buy the ones I want.

I usually buy them pre-opened at specialized web stores, since I’m too lazy to feel for blind bags.

Yeah, I heard about that price increase too! 🙁

Another price raise? That’s stiff, they’re already too expensive if you ask me – although I must admit that lately the printing detail and quality/size of accessories has been getting closer to reflecting a $4 value. Right now I get one or two, maybe three or four a series. I’d likely be buying eight or nine if they were $3. Once upon a time they were $2, though I must admit that was a steal!
But $5? They already habitually go on sale (online at least) once the next series comes out.

I did this! It’s the first time I’ve bought a full box. I added up what I spent trying to complete the Harry Potter minifig set and it was well over the price of a box. I’m terrible at feeling those blind bags, but I HAD to complete that set. I really like this series and it was double VIP points. I just got the box, haven’t opened it yet. I think I’ll open until I have the set and then keep the rest unopened or maybe use them as stocking stuffers. I haven’t decided. I think it will be fun when I get to sit down and start opening. It did put a damper on my quarterly Lego budget. But oh well, I think it’s worth it. And Christmas is coming!

Nice! It seems full boxes are the way to go. 🙂

Well, I opened them all. I did not get a full set. I came close. Dog Sitter = 3, Video Game Champ = 5, Shower Guy = 3, Rugby Player = 3, Bear Costume = 5, Pizza Costume Guy = 4, Galactic Bounty Hunter = 5, Monkey King = 3, Programmer = 8, Gardener = 3, Mountain Biker = 3, FireFighter = 3, Fright Knight = 0, Jungle Explorer = 4, Mummy Queen = 5, Fox Costume = 3. Interesting that I didn’t get a single Fright Knight when 3 seemed to be the minimum. But no worries, I’ll pick him up eventually. In all, it was great fun. I would do this again for a series I really liked.

I hope they continue doing this with future boxes. The Walmarts and Targets near me no longer carry the collectible minifigs, so I can’t feel for them. I don’t mind buying a box and sell the rest. And sometimes I just give them away as gifts.

I LOVE the Collectible minifigures! Have been collecting them since Series 1 and have a full set of each, except that darned Mr Gold lol. 🙂 This series is particularly adorable.

I almost always buy sealed cases but several times now both for this series and 18 I have not received the “complete” series. The normal distribution is off. Lots of others have experienced the same thing. Check YouTube and you can see.

I loved this last series and I don’t mind feeling the blind bags for the mini figure i want . I’m usually very lucky and find the ones I want. I guess the force is strong with me. Lol! Is it just me or does Lego put out various mini figures of different themes that maybe become sets later on. Like a test run on what mini figure is the most wanted and then it becomes a theme.🤔

I kind of noticed that as well. I don’t know how much they can track which minifigs are popular as they come in blind bags, but they probably get feedback through surveys and just talking to people at the LEGO stores.

I enjoy the hunt through blind bags too, although when you feel through all of what’s left on the shelf and don’t find the one you want it’s a bit tiresome! But, I guess because I spend lots of time building and am very familiar with the relative size and shape of LEGO pieces, I rarely have trouble identifying a minifigure inside the bag. At least, that I know of. 😛

Hmm, apparently there are plans for a 10th Anniversary theme next year. as well as another DC and Harry Potter theme. And I kinda hope for a Marvel theme late 2020 or early 2021…
