LEGO Fast & Furious Dodge and Minions Available!

A few days ago, LEGO released the #75274 LEGO Star Wars Buildable Helmets, the cute #75278 LEGO Star Wars D-O buildable droid, and Series 20 of the LEGO Collectible Minifigures. You can read about them here: New LEGO Star Wars Sets & Series 20 Minifigs Available!

Starting today, several more new LEGO sets are available, including the #42111 LEGO Technic Dom’s Dodge Charger, and the sets from the newLEGO Minions collection.

You can read more about the #42111 LEGO Technic Dom’s Dodge Charger in the press-release, but to recap, this set is a 1,077-piece replica of fearless street racer Dominic Toretto’s legendary 1970 Dodge Charger R/T. It measures 15” (39cm) long, 6” (16cm) wide and 4” (11cm) high, and includes authentic features like moving pistons, suspension, steering system, air blower, and display stand. The price is $99.99, and you can now purchase it at the LEGO Technic section of the Online LEGO Shop.

The new LEGO Minions collection is also now available. Most of the sets are in the LEGO 4+ range to accommodate younger kids, but they can be interesting to adult collectors as well. Sets include the #75546 LEGO Minions in Gru’s Lab, the #75547 LEGO Minions Pilot in Training, the #75549 LEGO Minions Unstoppable Bike Chase, the #75550 LEGO Minions Kung Fu Battle, and the #75551 LEGO Brick-Built Minions and Their Lair. The Brick-Built Minions are particularly interesting as they have a full interior! You can find the new sets at the LEGO Minions section of the Online LEGO Shop.

It’s probably better that LEGO is releasing new sets in smaller batches, so all the online orders won’t overwhelm their website at the same time. This is particularly important right now when official LEGO stores are closed. I hope that online shop will be able to handle May 4th, which is the largest shopping day for LEGO Star Wars fans. If you do have some sets in mind that you would like to get, I recommend placing an order now to avoid the rush and delays that can happen at the beginning of next month.

What do you think? Are you planning to get any of the new sets? Feel free to share your thoughts and discuss in the comment section below!

I don’t care for either of the minions or the Dodge, but I want to get all the new minifigs, 😀

The Minions sets are intriguing. I hope it shows up locally so I can see it in person.

I still have some sets to catch up on from January. So many of them are out of stock. Then, I want to wait for the summer sets. There are so many great sets coming out.

The Dodge looks like to be a fine machine. Still, I prefer the Mustang. I

Just got home from Target. Totally surprised to see all the new sets on the shelf. Picked up the new Dodge, the stormtrooper helmet and D-0! I know what I’m doing tonight!
In times of trouble some find it comforting to hoard TP.

Oh, they have them at target? I will have to check my store. The closest store is not too far from me, and they usually don’t have lines. Thanks!
