More LEGO Exclusives from San Diego Comic-Con

LEGO has been releasing exclusive sets each year that are available only at the San Diego Comic-Con. These sets are very rare and highly popular with collectors. Since the event only happened virtually this year, LEGO listed two of these exclusives at the U.S. Online LEGO Shop.

One of the sets, the #77906 LEGO DC Super Heroes Wonder Woman sold out right away at the beginning of the month, and a second one, the #77907 LEGO Super Mario Toad’s Special Hideaway Expansion Set is still available at the LEGO Super Mario section of the Online LEGO Shop.

In addition, two other SDCC-2020 exclusives have been listed at LEGO’s website, but these are not yet available. It’s likely they will also be listed at the U.S. Online Shop in the near future.

One of the still unavailable SDCC-2020 sets is a mini version of the #77904 LEGO Star Wars Nebulon-B Frigate with a 40th Anniversary display stand from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. And the other set is the #77905 LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Taskmaster’s Ambush featuring Black Widow with her electroshock baton, Red Guardian with his shield, and Taskmaster with his 6-wheel monster truck and sword.

The San Diego Comic-Con sets often have really nice packaging. I especially like the artwork on the two Super Heroes sets. If you’re a collector, keep an eye out for these two sets, and if I hear any updates I will post them as well.

What do you think? How do you like these exclusives? Are you planning to get any of them? Or try to collect them all? Feel free to share your thoughts and discuss in the comment section below!

I’m annoyed of those sets by pure principle. Artificial scarcity that only feeds scalpers. If they’re devoid of exclusive prints and parts and only has exclusive packaging, I’d guess they’d be acceptable…

DIdn’t they say they are no longer doing exclusives? I would love to get both of the superheroes sets.

I think they said no regional exclusives. But they still have event exclusives. Not that I agree, but it is what it is.

Yeah, event exclusives, and possibly also location exclusives, such as sets for Legoland and the Lego house. (Not entirely sure about the rulings for the last point.)

Exclusives are amazing and people stop being whiny babies if you can’t get it…
Go on eBay if you really want it.. These exclusives are awesome and Lego will continue with convention exclusives…

People here should stop being so entitled because you can’t have everything in life and people do like exclusives except for the people that can’t get it are always sour!

Both the Marvel and the DC set are awesome, and I wouldn’t mind getting the Nebulon either. Maybe these will be available as vip raffles later? I would love to get them, but I don’t want to pay scalper prices.

Yeah, if you want to test your luck, I guess, but I’d rather spend my VIP points on some certain rewards, I’m no gambler…

That’s my thought exactly. I’m not going to waste my VIP points on a scheme like that.
