LEGO Ideas Contest: Exploring Middle-Earth

The newly released #10316 LEGO Lord of the Rings Rivendell set beautifully captures many of the iconic scenes and characters from the books and movies. What stories, moments, or locations from the books and films could be immortalized using LEGO bricks? This is what the next LEGO Ideas contest is about!

There are two categories in this new challenge, location, and scene, and the contest consists of three phases: 1.) Submission Phase – Create and submit your entry before April 11th, 2023 at 6:00 a.m. EST. 2.) Judging Phase – LEGO Ideas judges review the entries and choose the winning entries by April 15th, 2023. 3.) Winners Announcement - The LEGO Ideas team will share the two grand prize winners and two runner-up winners on LEGO Ideas no later than May 2nd, 2023!

Submissions may be in either physical bricks or by using a digital building tool such as Bricklink’s Stud.io. You’re welcome to use image editing tools, such as Photoshop, to create your images. Take up to five photos of your creation and submit them to the contest. Make sure to show off all angles and any features or functions of your creation. Add a title and a short description, and upload your entry to the contest using the blue Submit Your Entry button on the contest entry page.

There will be one winner and one runner-up per category. If you are one of the grand prize winners of this challenge, you’ll receive a signed #10316 LEGO Lord of the Rings Rivendell set, and a prize package of The Lord of the Rings goodies. The runner-up winners will receive a copy of the #10316 LEGO Lord of the Rings Rivendell set.

If you’re interested to participate, head on over to the contest page to read the challenge rules and get started! And good luck! If you have any questions drop them in the comments down below.
