One of the new sets that became available at the beginning of the month is the #72051 LEGO Super Mario Donkey Kong Arcade. The model pays homage to the original arcade cabinet game and features Jumpman, Donkey Kong, and Lady, plus iconic scaffold, ladder, and hammer details.
The set comes with several action features. You can pull the lever to release a barrel at a time, as if thrown by Donkey Kong. You can also move Jumpman with the joystick and press the button to make him leap over the barrels. In the video below, you will learn about the history of the original arcade game as well as see the LEGO version in action.
The #72051 LEGO Super Mario Donkey Kong Arcade is the latest in the large brick-built game sets. Other sets in the collection include the #71374 LEGO Super Mario Nintendo Entertainment System released in 2020, the #21337 LEGO Ideas Table Football released in 2022, the #10323 LEGO Icons PAC-MAN Arcade released in 2023, and the recently released #11374 LEGO Arcade Pinball Machine. And the #21358 LEGO Ideas Minifigure Vending Machine released in 2025 could be added to the collection as well. At this point, we can set up a whole LEGO game room!

I’m missed the announcement of this one. I would have caught it if the pieces were printed.
I’m not sure that people complaining about the price and the stickers realize the price would be even higher still if the stickers were replaced with full printed parts.
Lego is charging exuberant prices because they can. But the competition is now right behind them. Look at Lumibricks. Same quality as Lego. They have amazing sets. All their decorated parts are printed, and they include lights. And much cheaper than Lego! And there are other ones too. Watch Jang’s second channel. He reviews many of them.
