Spooky LEGO Halloween minifigs!

As one of my favorite niches within the LEGO hobby is minifig customization, I particularly enjoy the skills of Morgan190. Morgan is not only fearless in minifig customization, using the most unusual combinations and techniques, but is also an expert in presenting those minifigs using the mixture of photography, Photoshop and other wizardry.

For two years in a row now Morgan put together a LEGO Halloween Advent Calendar, by creating a new custom minifigure for each day of the month of October. Here I will share with you the 2011 LEGO Halloween Advent Calendar. (Click on any of the images for a larger view.) Enjoy the dreadful, but incredibly creative and artistic presentation of these creepy LEGO minifigs! Ole Kirk Christiansen (LEGO’s founder) must be turning in his grave! 😈

Please note that each of Morgan’s minifigs comes with a back-story and a little poetry, so it is worth visiting his flickr gallery to see the original images. Also, half of the fun while looking at Morgan’s creations is identifying all the LEGO, custom and other unusual elements he uses in making them. So which one of these creepy, weird, funny LEGO Halloween minifigs is your favorite? 😎

I really like charles, and purple people eater. whether it is a purple eater that eats people, or if it is an eater which eats purple people, I don’t know *shrug*

Kings, it is a purple eater that is purple because it eats purple people. 😈

PS how do you get the wings on a minifig?

  • admin October 4, 2012, 8:01 PM

Colin, adding wings to a minifig just takes a bit of customization. Nothing too complicated though. Also, there are some official LEGO wings you could modify. 😉
