We are only a few days away from the new season of LEGO Ninjago and more and more exciting news is getting revealed. We talked about the upcoming sets already (see links to previous articles at the end of this post), and today we will discuss the new teaser-trailer and official trailer for the 2014 LEGO Ninjago episodes that should start airing on Cartoon Network sometime in December. So let’s take a look! 🙂
➡ 2014 LEGO NINJAGO TEASER TRAILER: This trailer was released in mid-November and it mostly summarizes the story of the previous seasons. Aren’t you feeling nostalgic just watching it? Towards the end of the trailer the new season is introduced. It is just a teaser so we briefly see the cyborgs and the high-tech challenges the ninja will face. “Now new and mysterious threats are waiting in the dark. Are the ninja ready to face their biggest challenge? Are you ready?” 🙄
➡ 2014 LEGO NINJAGO OFFICIAL TRAILER: This trailer came out a few days ago and focuses exclusively on the new season; revealing some of the new story-line and characters. Ever since the Golden Ninja defeated the Overlord all is peaceful in New Ninjago City. The ninja found they have become quite obsolete in this new high-tech world. But there is a new enemy, and the ninja will encounter challenges beyond anything they would have ever expected… or even thought possible. They will be pushed to their limits as they face new digital threats, and also gain new allies, in the new season of LEGO Ninjago Rebooted!
Exciting, isn’t it? The combination of past traditions and future technology creates a very interesting and compelling story. And of course there will be new LEGO Ninjago sets so you can play out the epic saga. You can check out the currently available LEGO Ninjago sets at the Online LEGO Shop, and the new sets should be available at the beginning of December.

Admin, when is the new season premiering on Cartoon Network? Because I can’t find it on their site on the Ninjago page. Also, I’m getting the Kai Fighter from Toys R Us today! The sets are already available for purchase there.
What I have heard is that it should premier mid-December. I don’t have a calendar in front of me but I think it was the 18th.

I think it’s the 18th. I looked at the December calendar and the 18th of December is a Wednesday. So it’s probably on the 18th!

With all the pieces and quiet, you have to wonder if Jay and Nya have gotten any further in their relationship.
Yes indeed, anyone notice what Nya was wearing? A bit on the skimpy side, but I think LEGO understands that “younger” kids won’t really pay attention.
They made little mermaid…and I didn’t think it was too objectionable. They are lego after all. I don’t really like the Nya/Jay relationship. I find Jay a little on the annoying side sometimes because he doesn’t take anything really seriously most of the time. But that’s just my opinion.
jay can be a little annoying to me too. I mean, you just want a dramatic moment! and then jay shows up! dude! 🙄 other than that he’s my second favorite character! I like cheese sometimes. but Kai is more awesome.
I like how every little piece of information we’ve gotten so far just makes sense now. It seems that Pixel is Zane’s “admirer”, the purpose of the techno blades is clear, and the overall story is just explained well. A shame we still don’t know about how Wu turned dark, but I guess we’ll find out soon enough 😛
I’m very curious to see how the return of the highly anticipated Ninjago will turn out.
If you look at the 23 second mark very closely, for the official 2014 trailer, you can see an old man on a mechanism that looks like what seems to the the chair Cyrus Borg sits in, but without any weapons.
yeah, the guy sitting in Cyrus Borgs chair is Cyrus Borg. because I’ve seen the minifig and Cyrus has a double sided head and one side looks like the guy in the trailer. also this seems to me like the most exciting season yet!!!
It’s really interesting to me that Pixal has a double sided face aswell . I saw it in the review for the Ninjacopter by the brick show, and Pixal had a second side to her face that was evil-looking and had red eyes! I’m thinking that either Pixal betrays the ninja or she will overcome the programming of evil and help the ninja. Whatever one it is, IT’S AWESOME!!! 😀

really! interesting! maybe her creator can do this thing where she’s on terminator mode!!! (and what I mean by that is, she all, “destroy!” and cool stuff!) which would be kind of freaky… and awesome at the same time! 😈
And for the beginning to 2014 trailer, you can see Cyrus Borg bowing down to the Nindroid Mehcdragon. I’ve heard rumors that the overlord requested evil Cyrus to create a dragon body for him so that he could be a challenge to the ninja. I’m not sure this is true, but it seems likely that it will happen.

Congratulations to Ninjago for already outdoing the past 2 seasons in one trailer. That visual style is dark and moody, the plot is intriguing to say the least, and WOW they have turned up the effort meter. This will be an explosive final season for sure.
As exciting as this is…I think Ninjago has lost some of it’s magic….it’s not the same as when it started. Don’t get me wrong, I’m probably going to love it…but the past is the past, and Ninjago left will a bright future! Had it only been a month or so since the original series ended, I would be giddy! It just seems a bit late to continue the story…anyways, let’s hope Ninjago will come back with a bang!

THe official release date is December 1st. Three of the sets (including the MechDragon) are already available at Toys’R’Us. 😉
Actually admin, I got the Kai Fighter at my LEGO store because they get the sets shipped to them a week early! So, you can go to you’re local LEGO store and ask if they got their shipment yet. 😀
The General Cryptor and Kai mini-figures are so epic! These are by far, the best Ninjago mini-figures LEGO has created!

Admin, I know how Ninjago City got turned into New Ninjago city: A skilled and imaginative inventor, Cyrus Borg saw the damage done to Ninjago City by the battle with the Overlord as an opportunity.
He rebuilt the place as New Ninjago City, packed with high technology upgrades, and built the Borg Industries complex right on the site of the Overlord’s defeat.
Borg’s successes have been many, but his few failures have been spectacular as well (the electronic papercut carving set, the electric bath mat, the nuclear toothbrush, the turbo-jet powered, sub-orbital golf cart, etc.).
“When I make a mistake, I make a big one!” he has been known to say. (The digital Overlord is the nindroid mech-dragon. The mech-dragon serves as a host for the overlord’s defeated spirit to carry on!)
That’s on the new Ninjago site! They also have the bio for Cryptor, P.I.X.A.L, who stole the plans for Zane to make the Nindroids, Minidroid, a smaller Nindroid, and the Nindroid Drone. They also have the bios for the ninja, Sensei Garmadon, Sensei Wu (Evil picture, Good bio) and Nya. I saw it after I saw the Cartoonnetwork sneak peak (new season in 2014 :(). There is also a new game soon

I have news on Pixal too! P.I.X.A.L.(Primary Interactive X-ternal Assistant Life-form) is Cyrus Borg’s android assistant.
When she first meets the ninja, she is under the influence of the Digital Overlord and uses her skills to copy the plans for Zane so the Nindroids can be built.
She is cold and mechanical and incapable of any feeling for anyone.
P.I.X.A.L. is actually the 16th model in her line, the first 15 having malfunctioned due to a faulty thermo-coil and a malfunctioning AIE-ES (artificial intelligence enhancer-emotion suppressor) chip.
Borg was able to fix the coil, but the chip problem has not been completely solved. (The digital overlord is the nindroid mech-dragon. The mech-dragon serves as a host for the overlord’s defeated spirit to carry on!)

And finally, I have info on General Cryptor! General Cryptor is the robotic leader of the Nindroid army, and a servant of the Digital Overlord.
Unlike the Nindroids, who rarely speak, Cryptor talks all the time.
He loves to taunt and insult his foes in battle, and has even been known to criticize his own troops (saying they are as stealthy as a herd of hungry yaks).
Cryptor’s emotional programming is also more advanced than that of the Nindroids, and his quick temper can be used against him.
Cryptor dismisses the ninja as a serious threat to his army.

Well, this is just a hypothesis, but here goes: I think the OverLord survived through technology (because as he said in the last episode, “Where There is Light, There is Always be Shadow”), as Cyrus Borg advanced technology in the world. I also think that the OverLord Possesses Cyrus Borg, as he did to Garmadon. Also, as said on the LEGO website, he gets P.I.X.A.L. to copy the plans for Zane to make the Nindroids. The only part of the story that I don’t understand is (from the new sets) Evil Wu. Anyone know what happened to Sensei Wu.
yeah maybe when she scanned Zane she was seeing how he was made…like the plans for him…

not really complaining about this, but i think they should have made zanes blade clear instead of blue and given the blue to jay, because jays blade seems to cut into lloyds sphere since lloyd is gold. you don’t have to agree with me but i was just putting it out there to think on.

It personally looks like it added more of a realistic aspect to it, being all “techno” and saying how ninjas aren’t really needed as much anymore due to all the new technology. Seems kind of like things nowadays, where everything seems to be electrical.

When Ninjago first was released, I thought why are their Ninjas in a modern city that most likely has a military and police to deal with threats? With the new season, I think it gives a reason 😀

One thing that bugs me still is that in the pilot episodes, people lived in what seemed like huts. But since then it’s taken on more of a modern aspect. :confused:
I think that is just for the outer villages for the lower classes… That is just my guess!

My brother and I decided to have a Ninjago marathon starting tonight. We are watching 2 episodes a day including the pilot episodes, and we will end up watching episodes 12 and 13 of season 2 on the premiere date of December 18th! Intro:
TV: authorities are recommending locals to stay out of public, due to excessive mob violence… officials say problem to be under control by the weekend..
“and they say they have it under control”, says Kai as he watches the news.
“Ever since they created that military, and made their law enforcements stronger, there has surprisingly only been more problems”
“Problems only a ninja can solve”
Kai gets off his couch, puts on his red kimono suit, and opens the door of his house and walks into the night. As he wanders through the streets of Ninjago city, he remembers all the problem that have arisen since the defeat of the Overlord.
“Economic problems, government problems, social problems”
“And they still think they can handle these problems better than us”
Kai hears shouting in the distance and runs down a street to where the comotion is.
When he gets close enough to see what is going on, he feels he can handle it. There is a group of protestors yelling and tossing bottles and other various items at a group of police who are trying to get then to calm down and go home. Kai runs up to an officer pushing down a protestor.
” You guys need help?”
” Who are you? Oh wait, your one of those ninjas. Just leave. We got it under control” said the police to Kai
“To me it seems like your failing at keeping order”
“You don’t know anything just go!” said the police as a bottle went flying from the crowd
“I’m not going I’m helping”
“You’re getting in our way, if you don’t leave I can arrest you”
“Fine, if you think ninja aren’t useful anymore, the stay here for another hour” Kai yelled at the officer as he left the scene and walked back the way he came.
“I guess people don’t apreciate our job as much”
Kai looked down an ally way and noticed a man coughing blood.
“I need to get in touch with the others, Ninjago is going down the drain I’m afraid”

You know, now that I think about it, did Cyrus Borg really need to rebuild Ninjago City? After all, the only damage that I remember is the giant hole where Garmatron was, and they could have saved lots of money by paving over it. =/

Has anyone noticed that in the teaser trailer (Ninjago.com) Mesako isn’t shown at the end? I hope she is in the show. It would be ashamed if she wasn’t, considering the fact that Garmadon is married to her, AND that he IS shown in the end of the teaser trailer.

But it is a good thing that she’s gone because maybe Sensei Wu and Garmadon can spend more time together. Hmm. That’s my thoughts.

Why isn’t Lloyd the gold ninja in reboot?
Lloyd is in the new series in his Green Ninja outfit. The Gold Ninja is his special form, kind of like the NRG form for the other four ninja. It is not like he is in his Gold Ninja mode all the time. 😉
