Speaking of tires, they where in the Guinness world records book for the largest tire manufacture! ๐Ÿ˜Ž I don’t remember what year though.

Wow that’s interesting. Just think, if every person has on average 86 LEGO Bricks, how many people don’t have LEGO because of us…So sad *sniff* ;(

    • admin April 30, 2014, 11:30 AM

That’s a genuinely kindhearted way to look at that figure. I’m always humbled by the wonderful people who hang out here. You guys inspires me daily to become a better person. Thanks for sharing your insight.

Yeah… Although I thought the number was closer to 60, but maybe that was in 2012. ๐Ÿ˜•

      • Lloydguy April 30, 2014, 3:50 PM

maybe…(sniff)…I…(sniff)…Should give some of my LEGO bricks away to…make that a reality.

  • Tom April 30, 2014, 11:39 AM

Now I feel bad for having the best part of 70k pieces! Clearly I’m helping the averages though!

    • Lloydguy April 30, 2014, 3:51 PM

      I have a lot too ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™

    • ninja of stealth May 1, 2014, 12:44 PM

whoa, 70k? ๐Ÿ˜ฏ all of my loose bricks fit into eleven shoe boxes. ๐Ÿ™ oh well, that’s still a lot of bricks! ๐Ÿ˜€

      • Tom May 1, 2014, 1:51 PM

The plus side of lots of car boot sales (yard sales) and bulk buys on ebay ๐Ÿ™‚

  • BLProductions April 30, 2014, 11:43 AM

Woah, interesting facts! I knew zero of these before, except maybe the ways to combine 6 bricks. I think I’ll try that some time. Too bad I can’t spend 5 billion hours doing it. ๐Ÿ™

  • ninja of stealth April 30, 2014, 12:29 PM

I wonder how many people step on a LEGO brick each year. ๐Ÿ’ก

    • Lloydguy April 30, 2014, 3:52 PM

      I step on a lot a week ๐Ÿ™ ๐Ÿ™‚

      • ninja of stealth May 1, 2014, 12:46 PM

yeah they are all over my room, but I have mastered the art of not stepping on them! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

  • Kim April 30, 2014, 12:41 PM

Those are some interesting statistics. I love the population growth with the minifigures! I at times feel like I have way too many and realize that I just can’t fit houses for all of them in my town! XD Oh btw, I was encouraged to changed my blog address (I know it was such a good one!) when I posted on a Lego group on Facebook. I wasn’t aware of the Lego Fair Use Play policy that they don’t want you do have the word Lego in your URL. I changed it to something so much less cool but I had to think quickly. Thankfully the blogger tools allow you to download and upload your whole blog with everything in tact. But yeah, just check my new URL if you’re interested in future viewing. Unfortunately there’s nothing new on there (yet!).

    • admin April 30, 2014, 1:18 PM

Kim, yeah, minifigs have a way of taking over your space. They first start out on a shelf in one room, then creep over to your living room, and kitchen and dining room when you are not looking, and pretty soon you are run over! ๐Ÿ™„

I actually should have mentioned that about your blog name as I’m aware of the policies, but to be honest I haven’t thought yours would be a problem as it is not your own domain, but a subdomain to blogspot. I don’t think that’s a problem. I see people with subdomains and YouTube channels with LEGO in it all the time. But it’s probably best to be safe than sorry. Say, your blog gets really big, or gets featured somewhere, then loosing all you have built over the name wouldn’t be fun. ๐Ÿ˜

      • Kim April 30, 2014, 1:33 PM

Yeah and also if I did something with my world of Lego that created a bad association for Lego that wouldn’t be good not that I think that would happen but you never know. I was using my own domain though as that was an issue. I had purchased it through register.com and directed it to my blog, so it might not have shown up that way but it was the base address that I usually shared with people. I will probably register a new domain but those can be kind of costly in the first purchase so it might take a little while.

        • admin April 30, 2014, 2:00 PM

Oh, I see what you mean. Yeah, they definitely don’t like LEGO in your own domain name. Good thing you took care of it now.
