The Mandalorian – Season 2 Premier & More!

The Mandalorian live action television series premiered last year on Disney+ with eight episodes. The series was so successful that a second and third season was scheduled as well. The first episode of Season 2 was released on October 30th with the title, The Mandalorian – Chapter 9: The Marshal. This season will also have eight episodes in total, released every Friday until mid-December.

The story of The Mandalorian is set five years after the events of 1983 film, Return of the Jedi, depicting the fall of the Empire. The Mandalorian follows a lone bounty hunter in the outer reaches of the galaxy. At some point in his career, he is hired to retrieve a Force-sensitive creature only referred to as “The Child” (also called Baby Yoda by fans), and chooses to go on the run to protect it and reunite it with its kind. They are pursued by the main antagonist of the series named Moff Gideon.

In Season 2 of The Mandalorian, we continue following the main characters on their adventures. As I mentioned above, Chapter 9: The Marshal already aired on Disney+, and subsequent episodes will be released every Friday. I don’t want to spoil the story, but it’s a great continuation of the saga and didn’t disappoint. Below, I have included the trailer for the second season.

LEGO released several sets related to The Mandalorian, most notably the #75254 LEGO Star Wars AT-ST Raider, the #75267 LEGO Star Wars Mandalorian Battle Pack, and the #75292 LEGO Star Wars The Razor Crest. LEGO also released a large brick-built version of Baby Yoda in the #75318 LEGO Star Wars The Child, and a LEGO BrickHeadz version in the #75317 LEGO Star Wars The Mandalorian & The Child set. If you haven’t gotten them already, all of these sets are still available at the LEGO Star Wars section of the Online LEGO Shop.

With the popularity of both The Mandalorian TV show and the related LEGO sets, I’m sure that we will get even more sets related to the series either at the end of this year or early next year, but what these will be is not yet known. If you like the story, I recommend picking up at least the #75267 LEGO Star Wars Mandalorian Battle Pack (because it features four different very cool Mandalorian armor designs), and the #75292 LEGO Star Wars The Razor Crest (because it comes with the main character and his awesome ship, and because it’s the only set with a very cute minifig version of Baby Yoda).

What do you think? Have you been following The Mandalorian TV show? Are you planning to watch the second season? What do you think of the story so far? And do you have any of the related LEGO sets? Feel free to share and discuss in the comment section below!

I don’t have Disney +(my cable doesn’t carry it in their system). I can get the gist of it on YouTube from some reliable channels. I did however get the Razor Crest And it will be sitting under the Christmas tree. I blame me getting the Razor Crest on William. Lol! ( his review was very convincing).

Haha, yeah, the Razor Crest is a sweet set. It’s just a really good swooshable ship. 😀

The Razor Creast and the Mandalorian pack are a must. They are some of my favorite Star Wars sets of all time.

I have about three Mandalorian Battle Packs and three of the Sith trooper Battle Packs. Plus the Mandalorians from the clone wars. I’m building an army. It’s also great to add bounty hunters into the mix as well. Of course I’ve always thought the Mandalorians we’re more Marine base than Army. 😎

Lol! I thought I was the only one who has multiples of the mandalorian pack. They are great army builders.

Yeah, I guess. Possibly you could mix and match somewhat to create variety as well.

I’m not a great Star Wars fan, but I have three Benny’s Space packs, even if I already have a bunch of white and yellow astronauts from older sets…
