LEGO Ninjago New Season Seabound Trailer & More!

A few days ago, LEGO released the official trailer for the latest season of the LEGO Ninjago television show, titled, Seabound.

The synopsis for the season is as follows: Dive deep into a whole new watery world of Ninjago! For the first time, join Nya, Master of Water, her mom, and the other ninja on an underwater adventure to the Endless Sea. This is the deepest the ninja have ever been underwater. All thanks to their newly-designed, underwater ship, The Hydro-Bounty. With its help, the ninja will see colorful marine life, long-forgotten shipwrecks, and battle it out with the evil Prince Kalmaar… But will the ninja prevail or will the watery depths of the Endless Sea get the better of them? Get ready for the new season to find out, and in the meantime, you can watch the trailer below.

There is also a second synopsis posted on the official LEGO Ninjago website with a bit more info: Oh no! Something has happened to Nya’s elemental powers! She needs your help to figure out what went wrong. Let’s go – we don’t have much time!

When Nya and the other ninja realize it might have something to do with a mysterious recurring energy signal, her mom, Maya, P.I.X.A.L., Zane, Lloyd, and Jay go to the deepest part of the Endless Sea in search of answers. Hop on board their shiny new under-water ship, the Hydro-Bounty. It’s time to get this mission started!

When the ninja run into the Prince Kalmaar, the evil Prince of Merlopia, things go from bad to worse. He already has one amulet, but if he gets his hands on both the Storm and Wave amulets, he could unleash the deadly sea-serpent, Wojira. That would not be good for Ninjago City!

Just like her mother before her, Nya is the Master of Water, but without the full force of her powers, how will she overcome the two villains of the deep-sea and save Ninjago? Join the crew on their epic Seabound adventure to find out. It just takes some courage, sacrifice and a little help from your friends.

There are sixteen episodes in this season, all running about 11 minutes per episode. It’s interesting to note that the episodes apparently already aired in Canada and the UK back in the spring, but for some reason the rest of the world is just getting them now. Here is the list of episodes:

  • Ninjago Seabound Episode 1: A Big Splash
  • Ninjago Seabound Episode 2: The Call of the Deep
  • Ninjago Seabound Episode 3: Unsinkable
  • Ninjago Seabound Episode 4: Five Thousand Fathoms Down
  • Ninjago Seabound Episode 5: The Wrath of Kalmaar
  • Ninjago Seabound Episode 6: Long Live the King
  • Ninjago Seabound Episode 7: Escape from Merlopia

  • Ninjago Seabound Episode 14: Assault on Ninjago City
  • Ninjago Seabound Episode 15: Nyad

You probably know already that Kirby Morrow, the voice actor of Cole, unexpectedly passed away November of last year, but he already recorded Cole’s lines for this season prior to his death. Thus, this is the last season to have Kirby Morrow as a cast member. A dedication to Kirby is shown at the end of Episode 16: The Turn of the Tide.

Does anyone know where we can watch Season 15? Will it be on Netflix? We still can’t find Season 14 either.

They are on the Disney channel first, and the older episodes are on Netflix. As far as I know.

It’s Cartoon Network, not the Disney channel.

They also have the older episodes on Amazon now. Are you guys going to review the Ninjago sets from this season?

I haven’t watched the season yet, but I like the sets because of the colors. Especially the Hydro Bounty. The temple is cool too. I wish Toys’R’Us was still around so I could go and see the displays!

Are they gonna release these on DVD? I had the first few seasons, but then I couldn’t find them any more.
