Did you know that The LEGO Group has an official Facebook presence? The official LEGO Facebook pages have become great hubs to directly interact with LEGO representatives as well as other LEGO fans. You can share your LEGO creations, read about new releases, and check out upcoming LEGO events. And what I like the most is how quickly LEGO reps respond to questions, comments or concerns in regards to LEGO products, etc. 🙂
There are two official LEGO Facebook pages I highly recommend: the first one is the Official LEGO Facebook Page, and the other is Official LEGO Shop Facebook Page. In addition there are also other official LEGO Facebook pages set up for various LEGOLAND locations, LEGO Universe, etc. You will find them easily through the two main pages I mentioned above.
It seems like LEGO is making a real effort to openly interact with fans and listen to suggestions, ideas and concerns. So check out their Facebook pages and tell me what you think! Here is a list of some official LEGO pages on Facebook worth checking out:
- Official LEGO Facebook Page
- Official LEGO Shop Facebook Page
- LEGO Games Page
- LEGO Education – North America
- LEGOLAND California Facebook Page
- LEGOLAND Florida Facebook Page
If there is an official LEGO Facebook page that you really like and would recommend but don’t see on the list here, feel free to share them and I will add them to the list for the benefit of other readers. Thanks! 🙂
It’s been very cool that they’ve made this effort to reach out to the fans and give them another place to discuss LEGO. I’ve posted pictures of the MOCs we’ve made and we’ve always gotten a response from LEGO. It’s usually a simple “This is really cool” but that’s fine with us. 🙂
Sarah, yes, that is my experience too. I have asked some question about upcoming sets and release dates and I always got a response. That’s kind of reassuring! 😀
I also found them to be very responsive. Especially on the lego shop page. Don’t go there often, but if I have a quick question it is a good place to get an answer.
Thanks for listing the lego FB pages! I only knew about one of them!
http://www.facebook.com/LEGOHarryPotterGame is the official website for the HP video games.
Thanks for sharing that, Michael! 🙂
Do you know if LEGO adapts their facebook page to individual countries? When I enter the official page it is all in danish, but I assume there would be something for each market they operate in (change in language or country specific pages)?
Henriette, in the USA the LEGO FB page is USA specific and in English. I can’t even pull up a Danish LEGO page. My guess is that FB only shows you pages in languages specific to your country.
