Confused about the European monetary crisis? Don’t worry, a 9-year-old (Peter Cembalest) can clearly explain to you want is going on and who will end up paying. (Click on the picture for a larger view.)
If you want to read the scarier and boring-er adult explanation check out the whole post here: EYE ON THE MARKET – European Minifigure Union
Author Michael Cembalest states: “If today’s diorama analysis borders on the absurd, so does maintaining the fiction that accumulation of massive public and private sector claims in Europe can somehow be engineered away.”
It is great that LEGO can even be used to explain complex political and monetary issues! Although the conclusion is still a concern; those minifigs at the bottom left corner don’t look particularly happy! 😐
I was hoping the whole mess is going to be less scary in in lego, but it isn’t. 🙁
What I find most disturbing is the people that do all the “real” jobs are not the ones making this mess, but do have to pay for it)c:
While the ones tht made the mess keep raking in the money….
Maxx, I know what you mean. It is pretty unbelivable what is happening! Anybody who still has any motivation to work or contribute in any way is punished with this mess. 👿
LOL! I see this post is from September and we are in even bigger mess than at that time!
