The #10224 LEGO Modular Town Hall has been greatly anticipated by LEGO fans ever since the first leaked images emerged. This last addition in the LEGO Modular Houses series is big, beautiful, and full of great details! Watch Astrid (the talented and sweet LEGO designer) introduce the Town Hall, then we will look at it in more detail below the video. 🙂
Isn’t that awesome? The colors of the Town Hall are just gorgeous and the details are pretty sweet. I especially like the elevator! Below is the official description of the #10224 LEGO Modular Town Hall:

And just to show you how big the town-hall really is, here is a shot of if next to some of the other LEGO Modular Buildings. In fact, this is the largest modular building to date! And I thought the Grand Emporium was big! 😀
One thing we haven’t talked about yet is the price. With it being the largest LEGO Modular, it also comes with the biggest price-tag: $199.99. Ouch, I know! But if you consider the price per part ratio (with 2766 parts it comes to 7 cents), the beautiful colors and the sheer number of extremely useful elements, you would agree that this is a steal! BUY HERE
If you would like to add the Town Hall to your LEGO Modular collection, the next couple of weeks are the perfect time to get it! LEGO currently offers a double VIP point deal (March 1st-15th), so you would rake up 399 points on the Town Hall. You will also get free shipping on orders of $75 or more from March 12th through 31st, so if you wait a few days, the VIP deal and free shipping promotions will overlap for a few days. 😉
Oh, and don’t forget; there is a contest going on right now to win the LEGO Modular Town Hall! So if play-money is tight, but you don’t lack creativity, you might want to try your luck at winning one! Good luck! 🙄

I’m going to nitpick on likely the most trivial thing. In the main box picture, the janitor’s beard looks light grey (a color which that part has yet to appear in), but in all the other pictures, it is certainly white. Kinda wish they made it a different color to add variety. That said, I never picked up any of these modular sets (not because I don’t like them, but they are expensive, I don’t have much space for new LEGO sets. I may just have to pick this one up along with the pet shop, as I really like just about everything about it. The only structural thing I would have changed (though it is a bit silly), is maybe change the top so it would look more like the one from BTTF. Still, if LEGO is able to make even one set based on the movie, I have no doubt that people will buy it and modify it to do so. Also a side note, I am sorry if my comments seem to generally focus on negative aspects. Sometimes it is easy to forget the good things of sets/themes/ideas if there is something I see that I think could make it better.
Jacob, good catch with the beard color! I haven’t even noticed that! A critical mind is a sharp mind, so your comments are always appreciated. By the way, if you ever want to contribute a post you are very welcome. Your comments are always thoughtful. 🙂
You know,when i first saw this set, i said.”Don’t you think its a bit TOO big for a modular?” Lol! 😛 😛 😛 😛 😛
Yep, thought the same thing! 😀
It’s Huge! Impressive colors and columns. 🙂
It looks bigger than both the pet shop and the Market Street Together! And the price only goes up a third of the other sets price. That seems like a pretty good deal to me. 🙂
Quad, yes, the price per part ratio is excellent! And yes it is HUUUGGGEEE!!! 😀
I really did not want to buy it, I thought it quit plain for a modular and unimpressive.
But having seen it WITH the other buildings, it certainly fits right in there.
Darn it, now I have to buy it…..(c;
Maxx, yeah, those damn modulars are impossible not to buy! 😀
Is the free shipping just a US promotion? I was going to get the Town Hall and get the double VIP points but if there is free shipping ill save another €12
Paul, unfortunately I’m not sure as I’m in the USA. Perhaps call LEGO to find out? 😕
I think that a lot of male LEGO fans just discovered the woman of their dreams.
LOL! Yeah, for sure! She is beautiful, sweet, and loves LEGO! I think there is quite a bit of competition though. 😉
