Our friends over at BrickFanatics are running a fun little contest for a full set of the Olympic Team LEGO minifigures as the winning prize! As you probably know these minifigures were released specifically for the London Olympic Games this year, and are only available in the UK. So, if you are outside of the UK, here is your chance to win the whole team! 🙂
➡ To participate in this LEGO contest all you need to do is answer the following question: “When did London last host the Olympic Games?”
➡ Please pay attention to the contest terms and conditions to make sure you are eligible to participate and your entry will be counted:
- Competition is open to anyone over 16 and is open to anyone worldwide
- You must provide a valid email address as winner will be contacted via email
- The prize is not transferable and is for one complete set of 9 Team GB minifigs
- All packets have been opened to confirm contents
- Shipping to the winner’s home address is included in the prize
- The winner will be drawn at random and the judges’ decision is final
- Do not post answers in the comments box, only entries sent by email will be counted
- The deadline to enter is by July 31st
➡ For more details and to enter the contest go here: LEGO Minifigures Olympic Team Contest
Each of the Team GB LEGO minifigures comes with their specific accessories, a gold medal, and also an exclusive white printed display-plate. Here is a nice picture of all of the Team GB minifigures (photo by Matt De Lanoy):
You can read more about the limited edition Team GB minifigures here: LEGO Minifigures Olympic Team Coming!
As I have mentioned the Team GB minifigures are only available in the UK, however if you are determined to get them, you can also try eBay. You will pay a premium due to the exclusive and limited nature of these minifigures, but the price is not prohibitive at $4-$6 per minifigure. You can check out current listings here: LEGO Olympic Team GB Minifigures on eBay
And if you are entering the LEGO contest, I’m wishing you the very best! Hope someone from our community will win these highly coveted minifigures! Let me know if you are planning to participate! 😀

Great! I love Ninjago!! 😉
Worth a try. Could always use more collectible mini-figs.
With the blond haired boy, does that hair come in brown? If so, what is the smallest set it is in?
Nick, that hairpiece actually comes in many colors, including two shades of brown: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=62810
