As I mentioned in the previous reviews, the LEGO Palace Cinema is one of the most unique sets in the LEGO Modular series, and not just because of its style, but also because of the designers behind it.
If you already got the LEGO Palace Cinema let me know. I would love to hear how you like it and what you think, so feel free to share in the comment section below! 😉

I build it over the weekend and it’s an amazing set! My daughter loves it too and build most of it… It has an enormous playability too. The one and only things that is a shame is that one of minifigs is the same as the one in the petshop… If you don’t have this set yet… just get it, you won’t be disappointed.
P.S. These Lego townpeople are all about the customers… 6 seats in the house and two(!) registers to buy tickets! No waiting in line at this cinema 🙂
Thanks for sharing! I’m glad both you and your daughter like the set! 🙂
That would be SOOO cool to get! 😀 Sadly, I’m broke, and won’t be getting any amount of money NEAR that much any time soon. 😛
Same. :(:P
i would buy it if i wasn’t saving up for something
what are you saving up for?
I am saving too. I am saving for the Lone Ranger sets and the Lord of the rings sets. ( Even though I’m a little disapointed in the next wave of the Lord of the rings sets . They could have had more characters in the sets. As well as to have bigger sets.)
Lucky thing I’m a VIP!
IMPORTANT!!!: (Read carefully)
Ok so as some of you may know I am totally against Toys R Us’ pricing policies. They are having a “Buy 1 get one 50% off sale” which usually means HUGE markups so you don’t really save anything. Buuuuut, they actually had soem older sets marked down 50% by LEGO Pricing standards, one of them was Palpatine’s arrest, some kind of Y-wing fighter I think, and a few other big sets. They had Alien Conquest Mothership for $30, and a few sets marked down an REAL 30 to 50% off. I was able to get the long discontinued Buzz’s Star COmmand Spaceship for $21 ($10 off msrp) plus I added Spongebob Heroic Superheroes for ONLY $10 because of the BOGO 50% off,a nd I got 4 LOTR poly’s to build up my forest, you can get 2 polys for about $8, which is good because most of these are exclusive to teh store and normally you would pay $5 each. SALE ends today so hurry, this might be a good chance to get any Atlantis, POP, POTC, SW, AC, or Toy Story Sets at an actual discount instead of buying them form teh secondary market.
Micho, thanks for mentioning that. I got an email from TRU about the sale, but I didn’t even bother considering it. But as you see, it is worth paying attention as sometimes these deals actually make sense on some of the sets, especially the older ones. 🙂
You are very welcome, also I just got back from a Wal Mart about 30 miles awa adn I got 2 Mines of Moria for $54 each (msrp $79.99). When I got there, there was a lady loading up, she had five in her cart and one in her hand, I told her “excuse me, I’m going to grab these two”, the two last ones on the shlef,a nd she gave me a very angry stare,a nd I said “Is that OK?!” and she said very snarkingly “That’s fine!” LOL… this was my first LEGO fight ever LOL. They also had Attack on Weather Top for about $25 off but I didn’t go for it.
LOL! You gotta be careful around them ladies! They can be vicious when it comes to LEGO and they never fight fair! You are lucky you were able to snatch up those two sets without getting hurt! 😉
Oh yeah… I kinda figured that LOL
Lol!
AWESOME!!!! I NEED TO GET THIS SET!!! 😯
Same here Yellow Ninja!
In the news in Sweden. A 45-year old man attempted stealing Lego for 9000 SEK (About 1000 US$), but was quickly arrested.

Yeah, happens here all the time too. I think as the economy is getting worse people are getting desparate trying to make some money. 🙁
I didn’t think this set was as cool as the other modulars when I first saw it, but now that I have it, I changed my mind! It’s really cool! And fun to build too.
Angel, thanks for sharing! Glad you had fun building it! 😀
Thought I was all signed up with the vip program…but apparently not as the cinema isn’t available for me 🙁
Caitlin, hm, did you make sure you were logged in? It is also possible that you signed up for VIP at a store and never registered online. I signed up at the Orlando LEGO store and I remember I had to go trhu some steps to register online as well. I don’t remember all the details but it is worth checking into as the rewards are excellent. 🙂
Hey guys, I just got the palace cinema and I got to say, its probably one of the best sets I’ve built in 5 years! The detail is amazing, it’s worh the price. Remember town hall, I had to dig far in my bank account to get that Lol. It took me 5 hours and my friend helped me for about a half hour. It was enjoyable and looks great next to my other modular buildings. If your on the fence on buying it, go for it and make sure you use your VIP benifits! Anyways, now we shall wait until March 2014 😉
Bryan, thanks for sharing! I’m glad you like the Palace cinema that much! It is definitely full of sweet details! 😀
The Palace Cinema is one of the best modulars they’ve made yet. I own three, the Grand Emporium, the Town Hall, and the Palace Cinema (and I just purchased the Fire Brigade). Out of my three modulars that I have built, the Palace Cinema is my favorite on exterior detailing. The marquis and Palace signage is absolutely amazing and awesome to build! The lights are creatively made with gun pieces and the sidewalk is normal to the modular buildings. The exterior has a nice color and the roof is very unique.
The inside is also fun, but not the best out of my modulars. The first floor contains the ticketing counter and the concession stand. The second has seats (not enough, in my opinion), the projector (fun to build), and the awesome screen (looks great)! It leads up to the roof with a door to the outside. This set also looks great against the other modulars, especially Town Hall since this is another corner building.
This set is priced great for what you get in it, and again, one of my favorites. Buy it now! It’s awesome! Especially since you get 2000+ pieces for $149.99!
EJ, thanks for sharing! Yes, it is a beatiful set with lots of unique details. It is definitely a keeper! 😀
Yap going to buy it thx a lot
Good advice
