LEGO just revealed the latest in the LEGO Modular Buildings series, the #10243 LEGO Parisian Restaurant. This is the 9th building in the LEGO Modular Series, and one of the most interesting ones – at least in my opinion. Below is the official description, pictures, and the LEGO designer-video, showing you all the details. So let’s take a look! ๐
#10243 LEGO MODULAR PARISIAN RESTAURANT: Have an unforgettable evening at the amazing Parisian Restaurant! Itโs very busy in the Parisian Restaurant. As a scooter zips by, inside the waiter rushes between the tables as the nervous young man gets ready to propose with the ring! Itโs just as hectic behind the scenes, with the chef busily preparing the food. This beautifully detailed building is the setting for so many stories and is a great addition to the modular building series. The Parisian Restaurant has a fully-stocked, blue and white tiled kitchen with tableware as well as a cozy apartment with pull-down bed, kitchenette and fireplace. On the top floor is the artistโs room with a studio that includes a cast iron heater, easel, paintbrush and two works of art by the aspiring artist. Outside, stairs lead down to the roof terrace lined with hanging lanterns and flowers where the diners eat alfresco-style. This amazing Parisian Restaurant model even includes a facade with croissants, clams and feather details that recapture the feel of Paris.

Hey admin I made a trailer video for this site and it’s uploading to youtube right now ๐ I thought you might like it ๐
Let me know what’s the link, once it is uploaded. ๐
Emailed it to ya ๐
Got it! But the video is set to private, so I can’t see it. ๐
I really want that restaurant! I don’t have any of the Modular Buildings released yet, as this is the first one that has really caught my eye. The Grand Emporium looks nice, though.
Yeah, according to many LEGO fans this is the best or at least second best modular building. ๐
Mmm…Olive Green.
Hey! Me again (if you remember me). This looks like the most interesting of the Modulars. Maybe I’ll get it for a late Christmas present! ;D
Of course I remember you! Long time no see! Yeah, Santa batter bring some $$$! Have to be really good! ๐
Admin! All 3 Yoda Chronicles episodes were posted on LEGO’s Official YouTube Channel roughly 15 hours ago! And they’re all even in English!
The quality isn’t so high though, but beggars can’t be choosers…
Okay, sweet! I just checked them out. I only see two episodes though. Is that right? Thanks for letting me know! I alreayd have the first one uploaded, but I can do the second one too! ๐
Wow! Amazing! This is awesome. (I was wondering when the One Ring would appear in other sets other than those in the LOTR and Hobbit lines) Again, this is awesome. However, the architecture does seem a bit of a departure from the rest of the buildings, but I think this set adds a fresh new look and addition to the series.
Someone mentioned that this is a good way to get girlfriends/wives into LEGO – with that ring scene. ๐
hey this is cool! ๐
Love it, it looks very friendly unlike some of the other modulars.
They incorporated a lot of builders elements in there, very nice of them.
They did the same with the dark blue arches.
This will definatelly be on our wishlist, so I will start saving up(c:
It reminds me of the first modular, similar outside the box thinking in the building.
Unfortunatelly I allready read about this somewere else, wanted yours to be the first, luckilly I heard it from you first(c;
Yeah, I really like it too. As far as the bit of delay in posting; I had to satisfy Chima fans on the weekend with the latest episode, otherwise I would have gotten stoned. ๐
Hahaha(c:
This set is so cool!Santa you better be nice this year or else there might be something in your cookies this year………….
LOL! Treatening Santa? Hm… I don’t know if I want to try that! ๐
I love these! I want all of them… Now to find $2000
I’m back! And I thought Meneldur son of Garamar was the son of grammar. ๐
WOW IN CANADA ITS SO MACH MONEY!
This looks like a great set, I think I’ll put in an order soon. I wish I would have purchased the Green Grocer back when it was still MSRP. I always thought that was a great looking set.
Yeah, this set is really a must. There is an in-debt review William wrote about it as well. You can find it here: http://thebrickblogger.com/2013/11/lego-parisian-restaurant-walk-thru-review/
He will have another review up in the next couple of days where he focuses only on the unique buidling techniques in the set. The Parisian Restaurant is full of surprises! ๐
I just finished building this set, and it is one of the best I’ve ever done. Absolutely incredible. There are a lot of bricks. A lot. I took my time and did the build over 3 days. There are 4 bag sets. The attention to detail is really really good.
My favorite part of the build, was the kitchen and the top level.
In the kitchen there are actual cabinets, counters, a sink, and dishes. even the floor is like a real kitchen. There’s even a place for the knives to be stored on the wall.
On the top level is the Artist’s studio, and that’s pretty cool too.
Photos will be on my blog soon (after I finish the Grand Emporium which I got at the same time.)
Thanks for sharing your review! I’m glad you enjoyed building the set. Yeah, it is really phenomenal! All the details are just so lovely! ๐
