If you are a regular reader here you may remember the fun contest run Ichiban Toys’ website this past summer for their custom LEGO Back to the Future DeLorean Time Machine. Ichiban Toys is run by Chris White, a fellow AFOL, who provides top service to LEGO fans looking for LEGO elements, minifigures, and even custom LEGO kits. Chris just released two new custom LEGO sets he wanted to share with our readers. So let’s check them out! 🙂
➡ CUSTOM LEGO JURASSIC PARK TOUR VEHICLE: This is one of Ichiban Toys’ most anticipated models that finally after many requests is ready to ship. It is based on the same chassis as the Ichiban Toys JP Off-Roader, and it is just as strong and durable. It features independent shock-absorbers for each wheel, four opening doors, and an opening hatch. The vehicle can seat four minifigures. Inside the back there is a compartment with a lid that stores two flares and a flashlight – all of which can be handled by a minifigure. Also, the interior includes a TV-screen and steering-wheel. Adjustable wing-mirrors hold the communication antenna.
Chris shares the following about this model: “Our Jurassic Park Jeep-inspired JP Off-Roader was a great success and could only lead to one thing – when are you going to release the Tour Vehicle? As a matter of fact, our JP Tour Vehicle’s first concept was made about two years before the release of our final, completed design! Of course, it had to be perfect before we released it as a kit and we think we finally have it.”
With this kit you will get all 541 brand new genuine LEGO pieces needed to build the JP Tour Vehicle, along with a professionally printed booklet with step-by-step instructions. The kit is packed in a sealed collector’s box. Dimensions 8.75 x 4.75 x 5 inches (22 x 12 x 12.5 cm) Price is $99.99 with free shipping! You can see more details and pictures of this model at Ichiban Toys’ website.
➡ CUSTOM LEGO SWORDFISH: Captures the unique shape of Spike Spiegel’s Swordfish II spaceship from Cowboy Bebop, by using many interesting construction techniques. The finely detailed engine and housing attaches to a rotatable axle! Includes a simple, sturdy yet elegant stand that can be easily detached from the model. Due to the complexity of construction, we consider this kit to be most suitable for experienced builders.
Chris shares the following about this model: “I was in the mood to build some sort of spaceship so I asked our fans on Facebook for some ideas. One of the popular requests was the Swordfish II from Cowboy Bebop, considered one of the best anime series of all time. So that’s what I built. After some refinements of my initial model, we now have a complete kit inspired by the Swordfish II.”
With this kit you will receive all 103 brand new genuine LEGO pieces needed to build the Swordfish parts needed, along with a professionally printed booklet with step-by-step instructions. The kit is packed in a sealed collector’s box. Dimensions 7.25 x 6.25 x 2.5 inches (18.5 x 16 x 6.5 cm). Price is $24.99. You can see more details and pictures of this model at Ichiban Toys’ website.

Pretty cool but a little expensive in my eyes but yet again it’s dollars not pounds……
I’ve got a theme song stuck in my head. I love the Swordfish model.
what theme song is it? speaking of LEGOs ( 🙄 duh we always talk about LEGOs) that’s a pretty cool car for the Jurassic theme park thing 😎
Cowboy Bebop…
321 Let’s Jam
oh, I’ve heard of that song… it gets stuck in your head, too much…
Just wanted to point out the typo near the end : “The pit is packed in a sealed collector’s box.”
You mean kit right? 🙂
LOL! Yeah! Thanks for catching that! 🙄
