After three days of very short teaser-trailers introducing some of the main characters of The LEGO Movie (Emmet voiced by Chris Pratt, Wyldstyle voiced by Elizabeth Banks, Metal Beard voiced by Nick Offerman, President Business voiced by Will Ferrell, and Batman voiced by Will Arnett), we finally get the second full trailer (you can see the first trailer here: The LEGO Movie – First Trailer). So let’s check it out! 🙂
There has been tremendous excitement about The LEGO Movie, and for good reason. First of all the story is likable, with the little guy going out to save the day. The LEGO Movie follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and a Master Builder, who is the key to saving the world. Emmet is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant Lord Business who is bent on destroying the LEGO universe by gluing it together. Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared for the task, but with the aid of an old mystic named Vitruvius (voiced by Morgan Freeman), a tough young lady named Wyldstyle, and Batman, he is ready to fight.
Secondly, the visuals of The LEGO Movie are just excellent! In fact, it is so realistic, paying attention to the details and characteristics of each LEGO element, that people have been mistakenly thinking it is a full stop-motion movie. In reality The LEGO Movie combine stop-motion and computer animation seamlessly. Although I believe The LEGO Movie is going to be highly enjoyable by everyone, all the subtle LEGO humor added that only die-hard LEGO fans would understand, is going to make it even more fun for LEGO’s most dedicated and long-time fans.
The LEGO Movie is scheduled to be released in theatres February 7, 2014. And as we have discussed it previously, there are also going to be LEGO sets related to the movie, as well as a full LEGO Collectible Minifigure Series (Series 12). Both the sets and the minifigures will be available in January. And there is a video-game based on The LEGO Movie coming as well. Read more here: The LEGO Movie Video-Game, Sets & Minifigs

1980s something space guy keeps on smiling with that wierd face while batman tries to be funny 😛
Yeah, I really like that part too. Also the beginning… Batman is awesome! 😀
Looks like a good movie, but it doesn’t yet seem to have a moral, more like a slapstick with LEGO minifigures trying to be funny.
I think your right. The only moral-ish thing I heard was that Emmet had the power to do anything because the girl believes in him. *Shrug* Doesn’t seem like much of a moral. Maybe there’ll be one. I hope.
Agreed
looks almost stop motion cool!
LOL! Funny! 😆 Watched it like four times….. Really looking forward to getting some of those minifigures! So watching it!!!!!
