I found this really funny video on LEGO’s Facebook Page that I just had to share. It is from a recent episode of the Ellen DeGeneres Show. Enjoy! 🙂
Ellen likes to send a character named Kevin the Cashier to different stores to have some fun. This time Kevin the Cashier (played by Adam) was sent to the LEGO store to create some antics behind the counter.
LEGO shoppers’ reaction to Kevin is precious! And I love that brick-built LEGO “bag”! I wish he would be my cashier at the LEGO store! What do you think? How would you have reacted to Kevin if it would have been you at the counter? Feel free to share in the comment section below! 😉

My favorite part was the “let’s make sure all 400+ pieces are here” HAHAHAHAHA… and I also liked how he tried to remove the magnet LOL… I had some LOL time here at work
LOL! Yeah, that was funny. I would have gotten a heart-attack if he rips my Minecraft box open like that though! 🙄
LOL… I would too… but knowing Ellen they probably got ’em for free
if I where the one where he opened the minecraft box I would have been thinking, “nooo! don’t do that!! you ruined it!!! aah!” but then when I found out I was on TV, not that, would be awesome.
Off topic but is anyone else doing taco Tuesday today cause I am 😀
LOL! Yeah! We should make that a tradition! And because it is also Freedom Friday (which is also Tuesday), we should also make it an official free-building day! 😛
WAY back in theold days in San Francisco , On Tuesdays it JOHNSON’S
TAMALE DAY!! ( 1950’s ish) oh we did not have Lego’s yet
it was weird chi-bacca, when me and my sis went to see the LEGO movie, that night we ate tacos, even though it was on a Sunday that was strange.
LOL, the little girl’s reaction when he said she had to pay for the LEGO she broke with him! XD And everything else! 😆
I wasn’t offered a Lego bag when I went to the Lego store… Would have been nice if that was complimentary, purely for the worth of the pieces….
Yeah, it would be sweet and I would take it for sure! 😛
I would ask him what was the most popular theme released in 2001, then if he dosn’t know I will say you don’t work for LEGO and your a jerk.
P.s. if anybody knows commett, and I loved it when the girl said you suck!
What is the most popular theme from 2001? Its probably not Star Wars. 😐
Ah, yeah.
Or do you mean the theme that originated in 2001, then it could be SW?
But I’m not sure if it would work, clerks aren’t always full with geeky knowledge of the company they’re working for.
I believe that would be Bionicle…
I haven’t really understood if the question refers to the most popular theme ‘during’ 2001, or the most popular theme ‘released in’ 2001, but anyway, I wouldn’t be surprised if ‘proper’ clerks failed to answer the question correctly, it’s not really a part of their job description.
Apparently, both Bionicle and Harry Potter were introduced in 2001, although both themes are discontinued now.
I refuse to accept that Bionicle has been discontinued.
That’s sad and funny at the same time. Bionicle fans are some of the most dedicated and most neglected LEGO fans of all time. I hope you guys get your wish come true…
I second those statements! One day, Bionicle will return…If Adventurers and Ninjago can do it, why not Bionicle?
This is actually a good lead up to tomorrow’s post. There will be some mention about the future of Bionicle. 😉
Agents returned this year, as well… (Although I never understood this Bionicle fandom.)
Ooh, that’s a good post idea…explaining the devotion and madness of the Bionicle fandom.
Yeah, it is a good idea! 😀
it is very deep….. not even sure I understand it 0.0
