Yeah, Amazon’s own prices are often lower than the prices of Amazon affiliates. This is the reason I rarely shop from affiliates (except when the item is discontinued and out of stock on Amazon). Also, shopping from affiliates usually doesn’t come with free shipping – they are basically a separate company that has an affiliation with Amazon and they can list their new/used stock on Amazon (I sell books on Amazon this way myself). Always make sure the “Eligible for Free Shipping” icon is present at the listing. Those are directly shipped by Amazon.
The Ultra Sonic Raider is on sale, yay! I want a Kai ZX minifig and this is the only way, plus I get the Golden Weapons. Shame I can’t buy online.

Not much, mostly for the sets I want the most. Like the SW Republic Gunship was 5 cents off, or the MechDragon, or the Unexpected Gathering (which I found was $5 off). But I’m currently just trying to get the TLM Flying Flusher. It’s just sold out everywhere!
The Flying Flusher is available at the Online LEGO Shop, I just checked. Any LEGO stores near you? Even if they don’t have it in stock they can get it for you and have it shipped to your address free of charge.
I’m also pretty much done shopping. Got all the Mixels at WM this past weekend and having lots of fun with them. In fact they are peering at the screen as I’m typing this. They are very cute. The only other thing I would like is the Legend Beasts, but they are not yet available locally. Then I’m saving up for Benny’s Spaceship, and the Ghostbusters set. 😀
Yeah, I just went to a Lego store on Saturday, a guy there said the store wouldn’t have it for a while. And my Walmart was cleaned out of TLM sets. My mom says to buy it off Lego shop.
And I agree w/ the Mixels, and if you look at the end of the instructions, it shows all 3 series.
The blue ones have Ice swords!
Yeah, I really like the blue ones, the brown ones and the green ones of the upcoming Mixels. But I have already decided that I will get them all. I’m sure local stores will restock TLM sets as they are selling really fast. It is in their best interest. 😉
Prices fluctuate on Amazon quite a bit, so you have to jump on deals right away. I generally link to the main LEGO Store on Amazon (or in this case I used the main LEGO themes), but you can just use the search-box at the top of the Amazon page to find anything. 😉

You could use them, it just means I have to approve your comment. My tech-guy is having internet troubles so he hasn’t bee able to roll back the moderation plugin. Apparently there are some major DOS attacks against the USA right now, so although we don’t notice it here, people from other countries are having trouble to reach USA websites. My tech guy is British, but he currently lives in Thailand.

It depends on where you are at. And it is not all the time. It is just that DOS attacks have been jamming the networks in the last few days. We didn’t actually have any downtimes, it is just that some countries are having difficulties accessing the Internet all-together because of the attacks on the USA.

My Walmart had $21 for the Gatehouse Raid, which I thought was good enough to get one. Oddly enough they had the smallest Castle set jacked up to $15!

They also had the Legend Beasts and Mixels. I thought about getting a LB, but couldn’t justify spending so much at once! I did get a Mixel though – the red Flain one, who’s quite cute! I’m afraid I’ll be coming back with another Mixel if we go again…
The Mixels area all very cute, and I got all of them, but my favorite tribe is the red ones. They are all sitting right here on my desk. The Nixels are gret too! Lots of personality!

It’s weird though, I didn’t see any clearance or sale tag, it looked like the normal price was $30. I just looked online at target and it says the normal price is$47, but i was shopping at a different target than normal in a different city.
Yeah, I have also noticed things like that. I have two Wal-Mart stores in a 2 mile radius from me and they have totally different stock, pricing and sales. So if you are bargain-hunting (or you are just in a new neighborhood, it is always worth checking what they got. I guess it depends on what sells and doesn’t sell in a particular area. 🙂
Yeah. actually, we flew up from San Diego to LA in my dads seaplane. He had a photo shoot for some watch company up on pyramid lake. I got to fly the plane al the way there and back 🙂
