Since The LEGO Movie came out LEGO fans have been busily building under the inspiration of the film. There have been so many amazing creations it would not be possible to feature them all here, but today I would like to show you a series of LEGO Star Wars X-wings worked over in the style of The LEGO Movie. They have been built by Canadian LEGO fan Christopher McGrath (a.k.a. RangerSnow), member of the Northern Alberta LEGO Users Group (NALUG). Pictures were taken at the recent EEK! Comic & Pop Culture Fest in Alberta. Enjoy! 🙂
➡ LEGO X-WING UNIKITTY STYLE: This is my favorite X-wing in the bunch. That rainbow at the back really makes it, along with all the colorful details. Christopher says, “I like to imagine it’s alive and that Unikitty tries to feed it apples.” – whatever that means.
➡ LEGO X-WING EMMET STYLE: Emmet works with construction vehicles, so of course his X-wing is going to resemble them. It actually looks really good with those colors!
➡ LEGO X-WING WYLDSTYLE: Comes with spray-paint cannons and a kicking sound system in raspberry and sour-apple. Wyldstyle just might be a DJ after all…
➡ LEGO X-WING BATMAN STYLE: Behold the Batwing, or B-wing for short. But you say it’s an X-wing? Confusing, I know. But the important thing is that it’s all in black, and sometimes very-very dark gray. 🙄
➡ LEGO X-WING, X-WING, X-WING! (BENNY STYLE): “I… I can build a spaceship!… You mean you’re not gonna stop me?!” – little Benny is very happy right now.
Aren’t they sweet? X-wings never looked better! Christopher actually built other LEGO Star Wars fighters in the style of The LEGO Movie, like Vitruvius’ Jedi Starfighter, Bad Cop’s TIE-Interceptor, and Lord Business’ TIE-Bomber. You can check them out at Christopher’s flickr gallery and also at NALUG’s flickr gallery. And you can also take a look at the currently available The LEGO Movie sets for inspiration at the Online LEGO Shop.
So what do you think? How do you like The LEGO Movie X-wings? Are there any other LEGO creations inspired by The LEGO Movie that you really like? Or have you built one yourself? Feel free to share and discuss in the comment section below! 😉

These are awesome! I wish he’d give out LDD files…
It should be fairly simple to just use the instructions of the X-wing and swap out the colors. I would start there. 😉
I’m not that good of a builder… lol
EPIC!!!
I love wyldstyles one 😉 it happens to be my birthday today 😀
Happy Birthday! 😛
Thanks guys 😀
Happy BDay!
Awesome! I see that they are all modeled after the 9493 X-wing from 2012, except Benny’s, which looks like the 2000 one. Like the Batman one, though it’s not a B-wing, not even close. I would say a BaX-wing 🙂
Yeah, I think Batman would be happy with that name! 😛
