Today I thought to share with you another one of my favorite LEGO stop-motion films. This one was actually posted about a year ago on YouTube and it’s not well known, but it is really sweet. Enjoy! 🙂
This LEGO stop-motion video was created by Walter Benson and is titled “Love in Black and White”. It follows a mime on his search for love. Finding that special someone can be hard enough already, not to speak of for a mime who can’t speak! Watch the story unfold below…
Awww… I should have told you, you will need a hanky! It was sweet, isn’t it? I like this film not just because of the excellent stop-motion animation, but also for its simplicity. More is not always better to create a memorable film. Here the set-up is very simple with just a small park, a couple of main characters, a few supporting minifigs, and a bit of background music. And it is all in black and white! Which make the film more mime-ish, and also puts the focus on the characters, and highlights the timelessness of the story told. An artist with magical hands and keen eyes can bring to life even simple objects like plastic toys. Amazing, isn’t it?
So what do you think? How did you like this LEGO stop-motion video? What was your favorite part? Do you like the LEGO mime minifigure? Feel free to share your thoughts and discuss in the comment section below! 😉

Wow! 😀 This is really an awesome stop-motion video. Still don’t know why it didn’t get popular in youtube. It is just so well-made! Don’t you agree more? 😆
When you said “Do you like the LEGO mine minifigure?” did you mean MIME?
LOL! That’s funny! Stupid spell-checker! Just corrected it. 😉
Hello everyone!
You might remember me from last year, I was a frequent commenter on here then.
Anyway, I’m selling my LEGO Collection on eBay! If your interested… https://www.ebay.com/itm/111446147423
Lorca, wishing you the best with your sale. Sad to see you move on, but we are always here in case you decide to get back to the hobby. 😉
Dang. Wish I had what you are asking for it or even close to make an offer.
Yeah, I would also love to do it, but just don’t have the money right now.
I might try and get it for 500. 🙂
Now what with the post-credits shock ending?
And yeah, be careful with those muggler girls!
He-he… I was wondering if anyone will notice that. 😈
This post feels oddly familiar…Has this ever been posted before?
Hm… no… maybe in an alternate Universe? In this Universe I wrote it a few days ago… to my limited knowledge and perception… 🙄
Weird. I could have sworn I saw it once on this site will trawling backwards for articles. Maybe I was confusing sites.
No, it definitely wasn’t here. Probably you read about it on another website. The video has been up for quite some time now, so I’m fairly sure someone would have blogged it before.
