The first episode of LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales aired just a few days ago. As you may remember from our previous discussions (see links at the end of this post), LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales is a new Disney XD animated show with five 22-minute episodes that re-tell the Star Wars saga in chronological order from Star Wars: The Phantom Menace up through Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. The story is through the eyes of C-3PO and R2-D2, with the characteristic playful humor that we expect from LEGO Star Wars films. You can watch the full first episode below. 🙂
The first episode of LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales is titled “Exit from Endor”. It starts out like this: “It is a time of celebration throughout the Galaxy. After a long struggle for freedom, the Rebel Alliance has destroyed the Empire’s second Death Star, thus defeating Emperor Palpatine and restoring balance to the Force.” While C-3PO retells the story of Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace and Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones with some funny twists, there is also a new story forming in the background with the appearance of a mysterious character who takes advantage of everybody being absorbed in listening to the epic saga…
That was a great episode, isn’t it? I particularly like the added LEGO humor. There is no word yet when future episodes will air, but you can be rest assured we will talk about it when the information becomes available. In the meantime you can also check out the currently available LEGO Star Wars sets at the Online LEGO Shop.
So what do you think? How did you like the first episode of LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales? And who do you think the mysterious figure is at the end? Feel free to share and discuss in the comment section below! 😉

Awesome! Thanks for posting!
I think it is Jek- 14 because lego never really ended his story, he just went into exile. Plus, lego spoiled it by saying who is the ROGUE figure.
I found Anakin’s attitude in the episode rather annoying, not including his Vader quotes (“I find your lack of white bread disturbing” 😀 ). Otherwise a good episode. I’m not sure who the mystery guy is; Jek-14 is a possibility, but I think it will be someone new for LEGO Star Wars.
Also, on the topic of SW, the 75096 Sith Infiltrator is up on LEGO Shop US as “coming soon 1 Aug 2015” for $90, which is severely overpriced given its 662 piece-count. Shame, I really want Maul. 😕
Anakin is always annoying. That’s his nature. 😉
There are so many new sets coming in August, it’s crazy! I have been planning to place an order, but I think I will hold out until August so I can add a bit more. 😀
Oh, yes, he’s very annoying. But in Droid Tales he seems even more obnoxious, in my opinion. 😐
So far, there are 41 sets listed as “Coming out on 1st August”, and also one Minecraft set is not listed, making 42. I suppose that’s a lot, but I think we got much more in the May-June 2015 period.
The only sets I’m really looking forward to in August are the Ninjago and Technic. But I’m sure plenty of people are excited for other sets. Oh, those poor wallets! 😉
Yes, I’m also looking forward to the Ninjago sets. And did you see that the Technic 24 Hours Racecar is finally going to be available? I don’t know what was the delay with that one! It has been out in Europe for like what? Two months? :\
Yep, I saw the 24 Hours Race Car. And the Street Motorcycle 42036 is also coming available. To answer your second question, both the 24-Hour Race Car and Street Motorcycle have been available in Europe since January. So more like 7 months. That was, and is, very annoying. 😕
Actually, I was looking more towards the Crawler Crane (want!) and the Mercedes Arocs in the Technic range, as both are amazing models. I could go on for a while about them. 😀
Oh, the Race Car has been around for that long? That’s crazy! 🙁
Next episode airs on Aug 24 – as per the promotional Lego Star Wars poster given out today.
Thanks for that! I was wondering. 😀
Anyone else hearing NinjaGo voices? I know that Anakin (older) has Cole’s voice.
Hm… interesting! 😀
