Although we are still at the very beginning of the new year, details about LEGO set scheduled for release later in 2016 are already circulating. Keep in mind that until these sets are confirmed by LEGO, their release is not completely certain, however the information we have so far is pretty solid. The set names and details provided here come from just2good‘s YouTube channel – he has been a very reliable source of future LEGO sets, and they have also been added to the Brickset database. So let’s take a look. 🙂

Looking forward to the volcano theme! And really curious about those Friends sets too. Especially the roller coaster.
The LEGO City Volcano sets appear to be similar to the LEGO City Arctic sets, but probably a different color-scheme. And yes, that rollercoaster is making a lot of people curious! 😉
The Ninjago sets appear to be sets for the LEGO Ninjago Shadow of Ronin video game. I could be wrong about that, but the names kind of imply locations and vehicles from the game.
I thought too that might be the case, but I didn’t mention it because I’m just not sure. Interesting though.
Hmm. I would have thought that the app would provide correct info about the Thunder Club/Mace. I knew about Ult. Flama, it was obvious from the app.
I’m interested in the Scarecrow and Killer Croc sets most. Do you think we’ll get the Killer Croc big-fig, or do you expect LEGO to try to go cheap and use the minifig?
Apparently I hear that season 7 of Ninjago is centered around Cole and is all the villains together. I don’t know if this is true or not but I don’t like the idea to much. Is is also said that the wave of sets is split into continuation of the skybound wave and then the new season 7 sets.
