Here is an interesting piece of news for LEGO and Ninjago fans; LEGO teamed up with British clothing company, HYPE to launch a Ninjago-inspired street wear collection. Below is the press-release with all the information we know so far.
An apparel collection inspired by the world of LEGO Ninjago entwined with a trending street wear approach and HYPE’s loud and proud essence. Featuring a 28-piece collection of: tees, shirts, shorts, hoodies, joggers, jackets, and bags. Available from JUSTHYPE.com from January 15th, and via LEGO.com from January 14th.
In the 2020 LEGO Ninjago TV series the ninja will for the first time enter a new realm; the Prime Empire. The urban, futuristic, and colorful city, was the inspiration behind creating the first urban street wear collection with LEGO Ninjago.
The collection illustrates exciting memorable moments and characters from the franchise’s hugely successful TV series and the fictional world of LEGO Ninjago building sets, Japanese & Chinese myths, and culture.
Boasting mesh paneling, embroidery, on-trend chunky taping, branded neck ribs, and over-sized graphics. With a metallic look accentuating the prints and the use of metal D rings; emphasizing the power of the LEGO Ninjago spirit.
Featuring over-sized silhouettes in the LEGO Ninjago iconic color palette of yellow, deep red, and monochrome, with the placement of the secret LEGO Ninjago language spelling out ‘JUST HYPE’ throughout the collection, each individual tee showcases prints of your all-time favorite LEGO Ninjago characters.
It’s a collection to achieve and inspire greatness. “A Ninja never quits.” Above and below are a few examples from the new line, and there are more!
Last year, LEGO collaborated with both Adidas and Levi’s for pretty extensive ranges of clothing, footwear, and accessories, and it looks like they are continuing with even more collaborations. I really like the look of the HYPE street wear pieces, and will probably get some myself, if the prices aren’t too bad. If you would like to check out the currently available clothing, street wear, and various accessories, visit the LEGO & Adidas, and LEGO & Levi’s sections of the Online LEGO Shop.
What do you think? Do you own any LEGO clothing? Would you purchase any of the clothing items by HYPE? Feel free to share your thoughts and discuss in the comment section below!

Hmm, I mostly pick up my clothes from freeshops or wash dumpster dived pickings…
…but at least I could be caught dead in these…
Haha! Who needs fancy clothes anyway. LEGO fans only need comfy pajamas and that’s it. 😀
XD I’ve gotten a couple Ninjago T-shirts from Goodwill, I wonder if these will ever trickle down… I really like the ones with large silhouettes, will keep an eye on the price.
I want! How much are they?
Yo. These are rad. I would love to get some!
I’m not into sweatpants, but I would gladly wear those tees and hoodies. Very cool designs. Are they going to be available in the US?
Yes, they should be available in North America as far as I know.
I’m contemplating getting the Hawaiian shirt. Hawaiian shirts are over the top already anyway. Nobody would notice a few hidden ninja amongst the flowers. 😀
Those dudes don’t look like the typical Lego fan. Lol. Just saying…. 😀
Branching out… Broadening the brand appeal…
Don’t we have like sport and movie stars building Lego already? It’s totally cool. Lego is the ultimate inclusive hobby (if you have the money for it, that is).
I hope they are not too expensive. I would love to get a couple of these! I especially like the t-shirts.
Neat. I could see myself wearing some of these. But I rather spend my money on sets.
I could go for a couple of those sweatshirts, like the black one with red lettering on the sleeves, but in doing so ya run the risk of looking like a weeaboo if you know the meaning. ;D
Person A: “I’ve watched all of five anime shows!”
Person B: “Weeb! We’ve got a weeb over here!”
Please! e.e 😉
Or a leegaboo…
I wouldn’t mind looking like a leegaboo I wonder if lego animie will be the next strange show
I dig those lego Ninjago threads man. I’m all about the HYPE. 😎. I’ve alwayed loved ninjago. This just takes it to a whole new level. It’s to bad that there aren’t more Lego t-shirts for adults. I guess because Lego is considered a toy and not really associated with adults in that category. At least that was the situation 10 to 20 years ago. Not anymore.🙄.
