We recently discussed the upcoming The #76391 LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Icons Collector’s Edition that will be released at the beginning of September (see: LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Icons Collector’s Edition).
Besides featuring some iconic items from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the set also features three exclusive golden minifigures to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the LEGO Harry Potter theme. The three minifigs are Albus Dumbledore, Minerva McGonagall, and Rubeus Hagrid.
But this is not the only set that features exclusive golden minifigures. Several other recently released LEGO Harry Potter sets have them too! Characters include Harry Potter, Voldemort, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Severus Snape, and Quirinus Quirrell. These six golden minifigures can be found in the following sets:
- Harry Potter: #76386 LEGO HP Hogwarts: Polyjuice Potion Mistake
- Hermione Granger: #76387 LEGO HP Hogwarts: Fluffy Encounter
- Ron Weasley: #76388 LEGO HP Harry Potter Hogsmeade Village Visit
- Lord Voldemort: #76389 LEGO Harry Potter Chamber of Secrets
- Severus Snape: #76392 LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Wizard’s Chess
- Professor Quirrell: #76395 LEGO HP Hogwarts: First Flying Lesson
In summary, there are nine LEGO Harry Potter golden minifigures that you can collect from the 2021 LEGO Harry Potter sets. In addition to the golden minifigs, there are also sixteen special collectible LEGO Harry Potter Wizard Cards printed on 2×2 tiles featuring characters from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts movies. The Wizard Cards are randomly distributed across the above-mentioned six sets and are also available in the LEGO Harry Potter 2021 Advent Calendar (released in September). As the tiles are random and you never know what you are going to get, you may need to swap some of them with other collectors, or sell/purchase them on BrickLink.

I’m disappointed that three of the figs are in a big set. I understand why they are doing it, but it is still disappointing as many people won’t be able to complete their collection.
As stated in this article, they’re likely available on BrickLink. So not buying the big set with those three figs isn’t the end of the world…just go to BrickLink and see if you’re willing to pay the seller’s prices.
I would like the tiles, but I don’t care much for the minifigs. I don’t know what I would do with them.
Some of the minifig parts could be useful for building statues. I especially like the heads. By the way, Ninjago has similarly golden minifigs this year. I guess this is the year of golden figures. Haha!
Hmm, good thing I’m not a Harry Potter collector…
Did anybody here build those big Harry Potter statues? I’m curious how stable they are. Do they function as a big minifig with moving legs and arms?
I haven’t built them, but I did see some reviews on them, and also some alternate builds that people made with other characters. They seem to be pretty good! 🙂
The arms and legs move! It’s an awesome build
Not mentioned in the article, but the Golden Mini Figures can all stand on the display that comes with the (76391] Hogwarts Icons – Collectors’ Edition set. The standard build fits the three included golden figures but comes with buildable platform extensions that can be added to fit the six additional Golden Mini Figures.
Hi
I have noticed the price of the Lego mini figures 20th anniversary Harry Potter was selling for around $100, but now Hermaine, Ron, and Harry are going into retirement, the sellers have bumped there prices. I am kicking myself I should have brought it last month, the set now is anything from $500 to $700, so I am buying mine individual , can get 5 figs for ~`$155, Before these go up.
Happy shopping
Pauline
Ahhh! Yeah, those minifigs are getting elusive! Wishing you the best finding them!
