If you’re still looking for Christmas presents and you have a smaller budget, several fun little LEGO sets would make perfect gifts for the holidays. In fact, LEGO has an entire section on their website titled Christmas Stocking Stuffers. Let’s take a look at what you can find there.
The LEGO Collectible Minifigure blind bags are great little surprises, especially since the recipient won’t be able to tell what’s inside until they open the packet. They are only $5 each and available at the LEGO Minifigures section of the Online LEGO Shop.
LEGO BrickHeadz are buildable characters with blocky features and interesting parts. They are usually $10-$20 each with one, two, or sometimes more characters. They are available at the LEGO BrickHeadz section of the Online LEGO Shop.
If your gift recipient is into Star Wars, the LEGO Star Wars Battle Packs with several minifigures and the LEGO Star Wars Microfigthers with miniature versions of bigger ships are always appreciated. They are around $15-$20 and are available at the LEGO Star Wars section of the Online LEGO Shop.
The LEGO Botanical Collection features some medium to larger sets with beautiful brick-built flower arrangements, but there are also some smaller sets with just a couple of flowers, including lotuses, sunflowers, roses, tulips, etc. They are around $10-$15 and are available at the seasonal items section of the Online LEGO Shop.
The seasonal items section features some other small treasures as well. For example, the #40639 LEGO Bird Nest is technically for Easter, but it makes a nice gift for any occasion. And of course, there are also small sets for Christmas like the #40642 LEGO Gingerbread Ornaments, sets for Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, birthdays, and more. To see the full selection, visit the seasonal items section of the Online LEGO Shop.
Sets from the LEGO Postcard series we talked about the other day are also excellent small gifts for friends, family members, and coworkers. They are $15 each and are available at the other items section of the Online LEGO Shop.
LEGO City always includes small starter sets, usually with one or two vehicles and a couple of minifigures. They are great for kids to immediately start building and playing, and they also make excellent additions to already established LEGO City displays. They are available at the LEGO City section of the Online LEGO Shop.
LEGO Friends is another theme that always includes smaller sets. Just like in LEGO City, they usually include a vehicle or small building a couple of characters, and even cute pets. They are available at the LEGO Friends section of the Online LEGO Shop.
The LEGO Creator theme is full of small buildable sets with the additional benefit of alternate models. So your gift recipient can use the same pieces to build different models (usually instructions for three different models are included). They are available at the LEGO Creator section of the Online LEGO Shop.
The LEGO Creator Expert theme mostly focuses on larger and elaborate sets for adult builders, but interestingly, they also have some tiny vehicles like the #40220 LEGO Creator London Bus, the small red #40517 LEGO Creator Vespa, and the #40518 LEGO Creator High-Speed Train. They are available at the LEGO Creator Expert section of the Online LEGO Shop.
There is also a large selection of LEGO keychains with favorite characters from pretty much every LEGO theme and franchise. They are available at the keychains section of the Online LEGO Shop.
I hope you find this list of small sets helpful during your Christmas shopping. Small LEGO sets are awesome gifts for LEGO fans of all ages and experience levels. They won’t break the bank and they are always appreciated. What are your favorite small sets for the holidays? Feel free to share and discuss in the comment section below!

I like the small Land Rover Defender. I haven’t seen that before.
They used to have these small creator vehicles in plastic boxes. I used to love those as a kid. The box was great to store the pieces and it had pictures of all three alternate models.
