LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy is an upcoming four-part miniseries based on the LEGO Star Wars franchise, set for release on September 13, 2024, on Disney. Based on the trailer the story is going to be really fun!
The synopsis is that the entire Star Wars Galaxy gets completely mixed up when an ordinary nerf-herder, Sig Greebling, unearths a powerful artifact from a hidden Jedi temple. He finds himself thrust into adventure in a new, wondrously wild, and twisted version of the galaxy where good guys are bad, bad guys are good, and the fate of all depends on Sig becoming the hero who can put all the pieces back together. To get an idea of how all of this will look, watch the trailer below.
As expected, there are going to be LEGO Star Wars sets related to the series. The #75389 LEGO Star Wars The Dark Falcon comes with 1,579 pieces and features a mash-up of the Millennium Falcon and the Death Star! Included minifigs are Beach Luke, Jedi Vader, Bounty Hunter C-3PO, Darth Dev, Darth Jar Jar, and Darth Rey. This is such an interesting take on a fan favorite!
The other known set based on the series is the #75393 LEGO Star Wars TIE Fighter & X-Wing Mash-up with 1,063 pieces, featuring an X-Wing and TIE Fighter that you can build separately or mix up to build new ships. Included minifigs are Yesi Scala, Sig Greebling, Rebel Pilot, L3-GO, and TIE Pilot. This is another great set combining the light and dark sides of the Force.
LEGO spin-offs of the Star Wars sage are always fun, so I’m looking forward to this series. The sets should be available in August at the LEGO Star Wars section of the Online LEGO Shop.

I’m so hyped for this series! The concept of the Star Wars galaxy getting mixed up is genius. Can’t wait to see Darth Jar Jar in action!
This sounds like a really fun twist on the SW universe! Can’t wait to see how the story unfolds with Sig Greebling. Haha. I like the sets too. I think these are going to be a hit!
I’m not sure how I feel about such a wild twist on the classic Star Wars story. It might be too much for traditional fans. I remember there was another series like this. It was called the Freemaker Adventures. I don’t think they were too popular.
Then, Star Wars has been a franchise allowing different adaptations on a spins already since the late 70’s-early 80’s, anyway. You can just consider the various interpretations as different universes or something.
I love this! Both sets look awesome!
Some of the previous Lego-original Star Wars storylines were pretty good, but a “mirror universe” plot with black Millennium Falcon and a white-clad Vader? It just screams “we ran out of ideas”. For a toy line especially, since the bulk is inevitably “take an existing toy and redo it in different colors” without even having to change the name.
Swapping the wings around on the ships is very distinctly Lego, so ok, I’ll give them that.
Wait, an astromech droid named L3-G0? Nice.
The first-gen TIE sets (25ish years ago) had this same mechanism of swapping the wings around, too.

So does this mean Yoda is the emperor and Palpatine is the Jedi Grandmaster? Or Jawas are like the stormtroopers and the sandpeople are the Rebel Alliance. This concept can on and on in a galaxy far far away. May the imagination be with you.😎
