LEGO Ideas Contest: Turn Christmas into Halloween!

To celebrate the release of the #21351 LEGO Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas set, the LEGO Ideas team is challenging fans to dive deeper into the enchanting world of Jack Skellington and other characters in a fun holiday-themed contest.

The challenge is to transform a classic Christmas element into a scary Halloween-themed version using LEGO bricks. Reimagine your chosen Christmas element as if it were part of Halloween Town. Think twisted branches, eerie decorations, and scary surprises. Use a mix of LEGO bricks and special pieces to bring your haunted creation to life. Incorporate dark colors, cobwebs, and Halloween accessories. Embrace your inner Pumpkin King and let the haunting holiday magic begin!

The challenge consists of 3 phases: Submission Phase – Create and submit your entry before November 20th at 6:00 a.m. EST. Judging Phase – LEGO Ideas judges review the entries and choose the winning entries by November 26th. Winners Announcement - The LEGO Ideas team will share the winners no later than December 2nd.

Submissions may be built using either physical bricks or a digital building tool such as Bricklink’s Stud.io. You can use image editing tools, such as Photoshop, to create your images. Take a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 10 photos of your creation and submit them to the challenge. Make sure to show off all angles and any features or functions of your creation. Add a title and a short description. Upload your entry to the challenge using the Submit Entry button on the contest page. The contest page also includes all the rules and details, so if you plant to enter, make sure you read through it all.

If you are the grand prize winner of this challenge, you’ll receive the following: #21351 LEGO Ideas Nightmare before Christmas (signed by the designers), #43230 LEGO Ideas Walt Disney Tribute Camera, #21332 LEGO Ideas The Globe, #21338 LEGO Ideas A-Frame Cabin, and #21346 LEGO Ideas Family Tree.

They like these mixup contests lately. I’m not complaining, but it’s funny they are running two similar contests right now.
