LEGO just announced a massive new LEGO Fortnite update, which includes a new game called LEGO Fortnite Brick Life. Updates to include a new category name for LEGO play experiences within Fortnite, major updates to existing games, and an all-new social roleplay game. Take a look at the details below!
Starting from December 10th, new changes to the world of LEGO Fortnite will begin to roll out as LEGO Fortnite becomes a new, centralized location for family-friendly LEGO play experiences within Fortnite.
Launching on December 10th within LEGO Fortnite will be a major game update for LEGO Fortnite Odyssey, the new name for LEGO Fortnite, the original survival crafting game that launched in December 2023. This new update will introduce all-new areas to explore, enemies to overcome and gameplay features. Epic Games and the LEGO Group will also be launching LEGO Fortnite Brick Life on December 12th: an all-new social roleplay game that invites players to make new friends, build their dream lifestyle, and move into a new home in the heart of a bustling city.
LEGO FORTNITE TO BECOME HOME TO ALL LEGO EXPERIENCES IN FORTNITE
From December 10th when players head into the Discover page in Fortnite, LEGO Fortnite will now be its own category within Fortnite. The new LEGO Fortnite brings together all LEGO content within Fortnite as a centralized destination of family-friendly play experiences, including LEGO Group-made and creator-made LEGO Fortnite Islands. This change demonstrates the LEGO Group and Epic Games’ commitment to delivering on their long-term partnership vision.
BECOME A HERO IN LEGO FORTNITE ODYSSEY
With the hub name refresh, the survival crafting game that was previously called LEGO Fortnite will have a major game update and now be called LEGO Fortnite Odyssey from December 10th onwards.
In LEGO Fortnite Odyssey, The Storm King has thundered onto the scene in the survival mode’s latest update: Storm Chasers! With his storm-wild legion, led by Raven, The Storm King has everything he needs to complete his sinister quest to consume all. It’s up to you and your friends to stop him!
Become a hero and set out on an all-new adventure in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey. Find the Storm Chaser Village, meet new friends, and build up the strength to take down an electrifying new evil. UPDATES ROLLING OUT FROM TOMORROW ONWARDS
This week’s launches are the latest to come from the long-term partnership between Epic Games and the LEGO Group to develop fun and safe digital spaces for children and families. In addition to the launch of LEGO Fortnite last December, the two released LEGO elements and tools to Fortnite creators in March 2024, expanding the offering of LEGO content in Fortnite and encouraging creativity, experimentation, and collaboration through play.
Remi Marcelli, SVP and Head of LEGO GAME at the LEGO Group commented: “One year on from our unveiling of LEGO Fortnite, these launches reflect the LEGO Group and Epic Games’ ongoing commitment to continuing to bring even more varied and diverse play experiences to players of all ages. We’re sure that players are going to love the new adventures and ways to play as these updates bring to life a number of new dimensions of LEGO play on Fortnite.”

I don’t care for the game, but I would love to have those minifigs. They should make them as a collectible series.
Hope we’ll get some new minifigs out of this. I’m indifferent to the game itself, but many of the parts would be useful for figbashing.
I wish lego fortnite was easier to access without needing to go through the main fortnite interface. Other than that, it’s fun to play!
