LEGO Botanical sets with brick-built flowerpots have been very popular with old and new LEGO fans alike. They are compact, neatly arranged, and you don’t need to get separate vases or pots to display them.

One of the first sets in the series was the beautiful #10281 LEGO Botanicals Bonsai Tree, released back in 2021, with foliage that you were able to change from green to pink blossoms. Earlier this year, LEGO released a second bonsai, the striking #10348 LEGO Botanicals Japanese Maple Tree with striking orange and red leaves.

If you liked this set, soon, you will be able to build three more bonsais with the #10373 LEGO Botanicals Mini Bonsai Trees. The set features a ginkgo bonsai tree with yellow leaves, a black pine bonsai tree with green needles, and a wisteria bonsai tree with hanging lilac flowers. Each mini tree has interchangeable foliage, so you can channel your inner bonsai artist and customize your creations by swapping their leaves. The set also includes two ornamental stands that allow the bonsai trees to be displayed at different heights and in different combinations.

These trees are not just popular with bonsai fans but also those who want to add trees to their LEGO cities, castles, and other minifig-scale dioramas. There are so many interesting tree-building techniques demonstrated in these sets! The Japanese Maple is already available, and the Mini Bonsai Trees will be released in August, but you can already pre-order them at the LEGO Botanicals section of the Online LEGO Shop.

Another LEGO Botanicals set that will be released in August is the #10372 LEGO Botanicals Hibiscus. This set is not yet available for pre-order, but it is already listed at the Online LEGO Shop, so we can admire it through pictures. The plant features five large blooms, four flowers that are about to blossom, and two young flower buds with lovely shades of lavender.

As usual with these LEGO flowers, the petals and leaves can be positioned as you wish. Just like the new mini bonsais, the Hibiscus comes with a dark-blue pot. I think this will be another popular set with those who enjoy the LEGO potted plants collection.
