LEGO Ideas Treasure Quest Contest!

Are you ready for an adventure? The LEGO Ideas team is running a new contest, asking LEGO fans to create a brick-built treasure quest! Below are the details.

Think ‘treasure’, and most people immediately imagine pirate gold, pieces of eight, and fine jewelry. But remember, treasure can just as easily be a sentimental family trinket or that cherished childhood teddy bear. So, build your treasure in brick form, and your story around it! The sky is the limit for your treasure quest. Whether you’re deep-sea diving, getting lost in lavish landscapes, or simply staying at home, adventures big and small are welcome for this challenge!

Classic adventures on the big and small screens have inspired wannabe explorers for generations – but the LEGO Ideas team wants you to think outside the box for this challenge. That means no ideas based on pre-existing intellectual property. Only original quests from the ultimate original: you! So it’s time to go on an adventure! And what could be better than a quest for treasure? That’s right: they want you to create a brick-built treasure hunt based on your definition of treasure!

Once you’re ready for your quest, build your creation (with bricks or online) and upload photos to the LEGO Ideas contest page. Submit your build by January 21st 2026, at 6:00 AM EST. The LEGO Ideas team will review and select 5 builds to receive the following grand prize package: the #21363 LEGO Ideas The Goonies, #21058 LEGO Architecture Great Pyramid of Giza, and #21362 LEGO Ideas Mineral Collection.

Results will be posted on LEGO Ideas no later than February 12th, 2026. The creators of the selected entries will be contacted via the email linked to their LEGO ID. For more details and to enter the contest, visit the LEGO Ideas Treasure Quest Contest page.
