A couple of weeks ago, we discussed the upcoming LEGO SMART PLAY system and three of the upcoming LEGO Star Wars SMART PLAY sets. Today, LEGO revealed five more LEGO Star Wars sets using the LEGO SMART PLAY technology. Details below.
The LEGO SMART PLAY system consists of SMART Tags and SMART Minifigures that activate SMART Bricks for responsive play. The SMART Play system reacts to how you move, play, twist, and turn with LEGO building toys. Another interesting feature of the system is that it is not connected to any app. It’s completely self-contained to encourage screen-free play.
The three sets revealed so far are the #75423 LEGO Star Wars SMART Play: Luke’s Red Five X-Wing, the #75421 LEGO Star Wars SMART Play: Darth Vader’s TIE Fighter, and the #75427 LEGO Star Wars SMART Play: Throne Room Duel & A-Wing. The newly revealed sets are the #75422 LEGO Star Wars SMART Play: Yoda’s Hut and Jedi Training contains 440 pieces and the price of 69,99 USD / 69,99 EUR / 59,99 GBP. Eat. Sleep. Train. Repeat… Journey to the remote swamp planet of Dagobah for Jedi training at Yoda’s hut!. This set features a brick-built model of Yoda’s hut, with a removable roof for easy access to the bed and cooking area inside, and a Force training area where kids can pretend to balance the Force. The set includes SMART Yoda and SMART Luke Skywalker, and R2-D2 to role-play classic Star Wars scenes, plus 2 SMART Tags.
